This is the first release in the Monster Hunter 5th year anniversary series! To celebrate this occasion, all CGs from the franchise will be collected and compiled into this one book.
All pictures on the packagings and book covers etc will be included along with newly drawn illustrations and hidden CGs. Besides pictures, staff interviews, snippets of what happened during the production are put into the pages. Illustrations of posters, packagings, monsters, weapons and characters will be categorized for an easy search.
The CGs in this book comes from the PS2 versions of MH, MHG, MH2 and the PSP versions MH Portable, MH Portable 2nd and MH Portable 2nd G.

本書では、今まで発表されたパッケージ画像や書籍表紙画像などの美麗な１枚絵CGだけでなく、描き下ろし、秘蔵のCGなども多数収録。また、スタッフインタビューもカテゴリーごとに収録し、制作時の秘話など、今まで知り得なかった情報も収められています。イメージ、パッケージ、モンスター、武器、防具、キャラクター、雑誌広告など、カテゴリーに分けられたCGを存分に楽しめる一冊です。なお、本書に収録されているメインCGはコンシューマで発売されたタイトル、PS2版『MH』・『MHG』・『MH2（ドス）』、PSP版『MHポータブル』、『MHポータブル2nd』、『MHポータブル2ndG』の６タイトルとなっています。
