A Must Have, To Get Everything In the Game Many strategy guides, these days, sell themselves on why you would want to buy as opposed to why you need to buy. We've seen exceptions to this rule in some Final Fantasy games, as well as a few others.
Soul Nomad & the World Eaters Strategy Guide is of the latter. There's so many customization features, unlockables, alternate story paths, and a whopping 7 game endings, that the guide is a must have for the person who wants it all.
Not everyone is a fan of strategy guides, and that's OK but the choice is provided for you. I think the choice is a little more in favor of getting the guide than not. Most fans of strategy/rpg games aren't just mild fans, they're rabid fans. With a game like Soul Nomad that has hit all the right bases, in that department, I can't see a reason why anyone who's bought the game, whouldn't get the guide.
The guides a smaller format size, like Disgaea's guide, than the majority of game guides. It's full color, lots of atwork, and even contains a cool Q&A with the games developer. Besides all these nice little extras, the meat of the guide is detailed with color pictures for examples and maps of every single board(which is a lot)
The guide deserves as many stars as the game for being such a perfectly compiled tome that covers everything in the game, but takes it a step further by giving you what you really want. The knowledge to achieve total domination and create the most powerful combo of squads, items, characters, decor, etc... in the game.
