This is more of a guidebook than an art book, so I'm only giving it 4 stars here. Very nicely laid out, however, and they've made excellent use of the promotion in-game shots, and I'm sure most of them are new ones taken specially for the book. 詳細描述
All Wander's efforts and sacrifices are for the the sake of returning the sacrificed girl Mono to life. A tutorial on the basic operations of the game, secrets behind the defeat of the colossi are all included. Take a peek when you encounter problems with defeating the 16 massive statues. Spoilers including the ending and all detailed information on hidden items are gathered with setting illustrations.
The book contains exclusive information and serves as both an artbook and a strategy guide. The pages are full of exquisitely printed pictures and insightful tactics, it is THE book that all players of the series should have a copy.

Somewhat Epic I guess it all depends on how much of a fan you are of Shadow of Colossus... While it was a pretty good book, it mostly looked like they just fired up their game engine and got screen shots. I myself was hoping for more of the concept art. Still well worth the money though, who doesn't want to have the artbook for this game?

more art please! I thought this was a really great book, despite the mistake of buying it as purely an art book.
There is a good amount of artwork at the back of the book, mainly pencilled lineart, but it does leave you wanting more. The guide to each Colussus is pretty cool and they feature some nice screen grabs if your interested in studying or drawing the in game interpretations of the creatures. Theres also a lot of cool Vocabularly to learn if your Japanese language student. Not really an artbook, but still very good overall.

not really an art book this should not be considered an art book...it only has a few pages of the actual conceptual art while the rest is all text and screenshots from the game... granted if i could read japanese i might enjoy it more but if all i wanted were screenshots and a few pages of art then i would have searched on google images for them.... thumbs down on this

No title This is more of a guidebook than an art book, so I'm only giving it 4 stars here. Very nicely laid out, however, and they've made excellent use of the promotion in-game shots, and I'm sure most of them are new ones taken specially for the book. Details the sequences to kill each of the colossi in the best way, and includes maps of all colossi locations, as well as all save points, fruit and geckos.
The last 30 pages are full of preproduction sketches and drawings, and several pages are dedicated to the colossi that never made it, many of which ended up being built in-game.
If you're a fan, it's still a must-have book. I'm just a little disappointed that there wasn't more preproduction artwork in there.
