Maybe the best game ever but...... Half Life 2 holds a special place in my heart, but the controls feel awkward throughout the meticulously designed levels and the loading times are lengthy and tedious.
Portal is a lot of fun as is Team Fortress. Is it worth it's price? well it is certainly worth the current discounted one, holding a piece of gaming history for just 25dollars.
Given a choice I would probably go for the PC version though.
Awful controls Oh my god. The controls are SO awkward. In Half-Life2, there are countless scenarios where you suddenly have to aim very quickly or otherwise you get shot. This is not possible using the stupid analog controller pads. I really wished they included some sort of auto-aim like in Metroid Prime (GC).
I bought the game again on Steam for just $20 and am now playing it on my PC.
Apart from that, the game really like to display the "Loading..." screen.
