very Cool addition
I find the kinect a cool addition, no controller needed all can be done using Kinect. It is surly a bit strange in the beginning but later feels more natural. As a veteran Gamer it took some getting used to but for party games it is surly much cooler than Wii. I can surly recommend this and it is a lot of fun. It will not replace the tight control if a controller but is nicer than the Wii controller and you will not trow anything into your TV because all you need is your hands.

The bundle includes kinect adventures which is a fun kinect game that introduces you to the capability of the kinect. Setting up is easy but the kinect does requires some amount of space though. At such a great discounted price, I highly reccommend anyone who's interested to get it while the discount are still on!!!

After I found the way easier to make Kinect really work with my old XBOX 360 PRO Console by tune up with it in Tracking Mode without using any Tracking Card any more, it's really worth to have it with many great exercise games.

I was originally quite sceptical about Kinect, but after hearing much word of mouth (good and bad), I decided to take the plunge.
Setting up the unit is very straightforward and user-friendly, but it is important to realise that Kinect requires at least 2.2m to operate effectively.
The unit will recognise you and you can do the basics at 1.8m, but I found that to get the most out of Your Shape: Fitness Evolved I needed 2.2m. This requires me to move my sofa which I consider a warm-up before I work-out. This is not an issue for me, but some consumers may not wish to move furniture nor may they have sufficient room.
My advice is to carefully consider where you will use Kinect, how often you will use it and whether or not you are prepared to move furniture. If your house is large enough though, no problems.
The unit contains Kinect Adventures, I haven't spent much time playing the title, but it appears to be what a pack-in game should be. I been scouting around for some very unique ways to play games. Until I stumble upon Kinect. Been playing with kinect everyday since then. The cons probably are need for space and light. Otherwise this sensor is remarkable.

The games are great fun and at the higher levels of difficulty will satisfy even the most hardcore gamers - there are very big challenges to be beaten.
As a matter of space, there is some exaggeration in the claims, because in my case I have no more than 1 square meter of space in my room and play quietly.
There will still be an upgrade that will bring even more "life" to the avatars controlled by Kinect, delivering true new experiences to players.
And another detail: there is no region block, any model works on any console.

Well, first of all, Kinect delivers everything it promises. It is great for family and party fun. But don't be deceived by the marketing, it is still extremely immature. There is not a single game that can satisfy a regular gamer, let alone a hard core one. And for us Asians, it needs a huge space, especially if you want to play with a friend. You might even end up dedicating a room for that, because you need a big space with nothing cluttering (which we call "furniture") in between. Honestly I could not even use it with my 80" projector because I needed to move out everything in between every time I wanted to play, and it gets annoying after a while...

got it and played for few days, i played Kinect Adventures and Dance Central, overall it's a whole new experience, u'll have great times with your friends and family. But it really require a large space to play, and u should expect a response of about 0.5 sec lag. So will have to depend on the game developer to overcome this problem. Dance Central is a good example.

The worst thing ever
This has been done before. This is simply an eyetoy that costs over $150. This is still having lag issues. Save your money and buy a Wii which in the US costs $199.99 and comes with 2 games and you in the long run will not be sending the system back every so often for repairs.

it is really simple yet you feel a combination of advanced software and hardware is making the magic happen.. voice commands are great too.. i really enjoyed playn the games with this gadget..as soon as u hook it up all ur non gaming family member will stare at it with awe..
MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE THE CORRECT VERSION OF THE SENSOR FOR UR 360!! If ur machine is NTSC-U onlyy but the NTSC-U kinect sensor,,if its NTSC-J vice versa...overall its a great hardware will surprise and entertain whoever gets to play with it!!
