Amazing case and amazing price This case is amazing. Really thick padding to protect your Micro, a nice look and it has slots for a GBA game and an SD card. And at a price like this, you can't complain! Japanese cases win again!

great little bag has a very nice amount of padding to protect the micro; adds a little bulk to it when compared to the little pouch the micro comes with, but for the padding, it's worth it; also, on the inside of the velcro flap, there is a small pocket that you can actually fit a GBA game in!
Rather too bulky The promotional shots of this make it look flat and compact, but in reality it's very highly padded. Useful perhaps if you drop your gadgets often, but I found it to be rather over the top.
There is a pocket inside for one GBA cart and another for a memory card for the Play-Yan video viewer thing.
Functional then, and certainly provides protection for your stuff, but much too bulky to be ideal.
Thicker than I expected, but provides good padding. The online pictures of the case only show it from a top-down perspective, and they give you a good idea about the case's footprint size. However, the thickness it not depicted, and I expected it to be much thinner.
With the GBmicro inside, the case is just over 1.5 inches thick. It is definitely less pocketable than when the GBmicro is contained in the original/supplied pouch. Thankfully, the padding is relatively soft, and I think that with time its thickness will diminish. Moreover, unlike a case constructed of plastic or hardened foam, this one can be squished a bit in order to fit in a pocket, for example.
Another slightly misleading thing from the pictures is that the exterior material of the case does not have a glossy-finish. The fabric looks like it's perforated leather or imitation-leather, when in fact it's not.
The Hori Mesh Pouch Micro is well made. It contains ample padding on all sides; double on the top, since the top of the pouch and the closure flap both contain padding.
The interior contains soft fabric, so it won't scratch the housing or screen of the GBmicro.
There are two - one big, one small, as indicated on the official Hori product page - pockets sewn in the case. I'm not sure what they're intended for, though.
Apart from my initial disappointment with the thickness, I am happy with the overall quality of the case, and protection it provides.
