The Movie Player is a multimedia addon for your GBA™/GBA SP™ that lets you watch videos, listen to music, read ebooks, watch pictures and much more.
Data is stored on standard Compact Flash (CF) cards, no special preloaded media cards (as for the AM3 Media Player) are required.
The Movie Player supports all common multi media file types, including *.AC3, *.WAV, *.MP2, *.MP3, *.RA, *.RM, *.RAM, *.RMVB, *.Mpeg, *.Mpg, *.M2V, *.AVI, *.ASF. *.WMA. *.WMV, *.DAT & more.
The Movie Player further supports an upgradeable firmware function, new firmware can be downloaded online in the future free of charge.
The included Windows based software helps you to convert your current media files into a standard supported by the Movie Player.
Please note that this is a third party manufactured item, not licensed, sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo.

1,5 past year ago i did buy thegba movie player but i never dit try it out cuzz i have no enny experience with converting everything with computer but someone have help me out and have converting several cd,s for me and i have try it on my gbamp and i was very impressed cuzz the stereosoend were trough gba speaker it,s near cd quality amezing took i have set it on 8,1 stereo cuzz the rest 11,16,32and 64,1 were all in mono and it drains more power proccessing from the gba, trough special software in the gbamp wich can mix 64 ch into 6 ch simular way like the 3d engine.
movie would be also great cuzz i have see the video review wich is also great.
so forget the play yan get the movieplayre

doesn,t work with standard format
i have try this hot item of the year 2004
but when i put a flaschcard with some mp3,s on it,
it doesn,t work.
the reason why is becouse it have to be converted to the gba format.
the movie player can,t convert the files to the gba format by itself so you must need are pc etc,,
this is more a getjed for gba fans with technically experience of a pc

gba movie player A+ excellent
I recieved my movie player in 9 days from Hong Kong to Anchorage Alaska. I am also very impressed with this little device I updated the firmware right away and everything works flawlessly. I would reccomend this MOVIE PLAYER to all and I consider it a must have for the gameboy advanced
