Good Quality If you're looking to get inside any recent Nintendo product, whether it be for repairs or modifications, you're going to need one of these. It has a magnetized like mose screwdrivers which helps to remove screws and to hold screws in place when inserting them. I've used it to get into my Wii, Wii Remotes, Gamecube Controllers and Wii Classic Controllers and it worked great. The one I received has a clear and blue handle and isn't abnormally shaped as the image shows.

Great! The Tri-Wing Screwdriver I ordered came in a clear blue color and it works great on my Wii Remote and Wii. The magnetic tip really helps out; no more lost screws! =D.

Works PERFECT! Tool is not yellow, at least the one I got, it's clear, a bit of blue, it's smallish, not too small but perfect for taking apart nintendo items, tried it on a GBA and GBA game cases, it worked very very nice, couldn't be better for me, magnet tip so the screws won't go away and removing and adding them are easier, very good, if you want a tri-wing screwdriver then this is the one to get!

Perfect Works, got one caseless Wii to prove it. Also, the handle of the screwdriver is different from picture. (I got more cool :) )

Not for micro Tool is too large to use on the tiny gameboy micro screws. a dissapointment :(
pinkpanter127(1) on 25, Jul. 2007 04:41 (HKT)
works on wii i've bought it guessing it would work on my wii too. i can now confirm this, the screwdriver fits on the screws just fine.

Works fine Nice item, works fine on a DS lite, you just need to be very carefull when removing the screws as they're small and fragile. Very good for the price !

Great Item I bought this for my gameboy so i could do so modding. It works great. The only problem is that I think it might only work a few times, like the screw driver might go dull soon. But it is only $3.99 so i can just buy another one.

It works; but you might get a defective one the first time I was sent a screwdriver that would just strip the screw whenever I tried using it. I complained to customer service and sent pics of the screwdriver, and they just sent me a new one for free. This time it worked on my GBA SP screws. The previous one was defective; the tip was too round and large, and it even had a weaker magnetized tip.
So if yours doesn't work, just email them and they'll send you one that works, for no extra charge. Problem solved.

Very useful This is a really handy tool for Nintendo fans to keep hold of as pretty much all of their products use the tri-wing screws which are impossible to remove without this screwdriver.
It has a metallic tip too that helps when removing the tiny screws.

Great screwdriver, but you must take precautions. Screwdriver works great (after getting the correct Tri-wing screwdriver from very helpful customer service =) ). Unfortunately, it doesn't work on all screws. It works on GBA carts, as advertised, but some devices may have smaller screws that the Tri-wing screwdriver won't fit in. The screws on my DS are too small for my screwdriver to use, but it works with my GBA and GBA carts. Compare what you are repairing with something that has the correct screws before buying!

I don't know which screwdriver the 5-star raters below got... The one I received was completely different from the product pictured. First: the shaft is not straight, it is bent and not in line with the handle. Second: it is made of very poor quality metal and was rendered USELESS after removing a SINGLE SCREW from my DS. This may have to do with the fact that it has a flatter point than the product pictured which looks like it would be ideal for what I wanted to do.

Great tool, not just for Gameboys either! My GameCube controllers were starting to go south; buttons were sticking, lots of gunk in the sides, and the sticks were getting worn out. I tried previously with a flathead to open my controllers out, but I just stripped the screws. Now, thanks to this, my controllers play like new and have a new paint job.
Yes, it's possible to open stuff other ways, but really, for around a total of six bucks, this thing is well worth it.

A must-have tool for your Gameboy arsenal. Opening a Gameboy console or any gameboy game with a flat head screwdriver can be done, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea. I can open up my PC case with a brick, but I'd rather have the right tool for the right job. Some mod sites out there say to just use a flat head if you don't have a tri-wing; I say invest in a tri-wing driver. No stripping of screws. Cheap price. Good-quality tool. Now only if Craftsman made a tri-wing and a GameCube opening tool...that would be damn cool.

Very effective and a must fro Gameboy owners This is a very sturdy and reliable screwdriver and is a steal at the cheap price.
I used it because dust got behind the screen and finally I could dismantle my GB (sp) and clean it!
It has a magnitised tip so you don't loose the screws a swell, a nice feature!

If you're getting an Afterburner, DON'T forget this! Do yourself a favor and get the right tool for the job. Believe me. I've tried to open the GBA with other tools. It's not worth the time/hassle.
