The classic GameCube controller, in my opinion one of the best video game controllers yet, in pristine white color to match the Wii's color scheme, with a much longer cable that more than makes up for not being wireless like the Wii's normal remote.

To me, this is a better choice than the Wavebird, since rumble functionality is kept and you don't have to worry about batteries or have to deal with the odd growth-like appearance of the wireless receiver standing on top of the Wii.

Top notch quality, and a baffling choice not to release it worldwide. Definitive controller for not only GameCube games but Wii games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I ordered it for my Wii and I am very pleased with what I got for the price. This genuine Nintendo GameCube controller came in nice original package. Its build quality is amazing (again) and its white color suits perfectly with Wii. Ofcourse controller cable is long enough to let you enjoy your games freely with Wii placed next to TV where usually todays consoles are located ;)

Gamecube White Nintendo first party controller.
This is without question a perfect product for what it is supposed to be. It is a Nintendo first party controller with the build quality you'd expect from them and has the bonuses of the extended cord length and a very nice look in white that goes perfectly with the Nintendo Wii.

The cost, shipping price and shipping time were all reasonable although i'd prefer it if it were a few dollars less but such is the cost of importing I suppose.

I really wish that Nintendo would just go ahead and release this controller in the NA market themselves, in fact with the Wii having full backwards compatiblity they should pack one of these in with every system sold.

The controller I received is just as good as any other licensed gamecube controller I have ever owned. The extra long cord really is pretty long, weighing it down just a little bit more than the regular length cords, but that can be expected. Plays technically challenging games well. I use it so much it is hard to keep clean. Great replacement for worn out equipment.

This is my first GameCube controller, bought it for my Wii. It has the three qualities a Wii owner wants on a wired controller: Excellent build quality (it's an official Nintendo product after all), matching color (this thing is beautiful, I tell you) and a VERY long wire. Seriously, the wire is ridiculously long, perfect for a big room.
It feels very confortable when using the analog stick for GameCube and Wii games. The d-pad is not very good, but that's because I'm used to DualShock controllers witch have bigger d-pads and in different positions. Some SNES games are difficult to control because of the button placement, so get a Classic Controller instead if you plan on playing only SNES games.

Sheer Brilliance.
The controller with the best conventional design of all time is now perfected with the realised 3m cable. Playing the likes of SSBB and Mario Kart Wii from the couch is no longer a hassle, and the soft White encasing (non-glossy, so no fingerprints!) perfectly blends in with the Wii.

Storage is also convenient, with the 3m cable wrapping nicely around the Controller casing, leaving no extra sections of cord dangling. Cannot wait for the Black ones to start rolling in!

Worth getting for your classic GC games
My first time ordering from Play Asia and I'm proud to say that this official controller from Nintendo Japan delivers.
Prior to this I was using a 3rd party Cube controller but the problem was the games randomly pause for no reason. Now with this official controller it's gone.

It's Perfect - simplt as that!
Fantastic controller that works on all Wii and Gamecube consoles worldwide. The 3 Meter cord is a great improvment, and offers much further reach than the original Gamecube controllers. For me, this extra cord length means this controller now gets used in prefference to my Wavebird pad, as I can still sit in comfort with this one - yet enjoy all the features of the built in rumble once more. Yey!

If you're looking for Gamecube controllers, this is a no-brainer. An official controller, BRAND-NEW, with a significantly longer cord than normal models. Don't you miss the feeling of a nice, responsive control stick, with no wear? This is your chance! New controllers are almost impossible to find, unless you settle for awkward third-party junk that's likely to break (and not have the cable length). When a fire ruined my old controllers, I bought five of these, and I don't regret it one bit. Once these go out of production you may never find them again!

It's Feels and Works Just As Any Gamecube Remote Should...
...I've been waiting for 2 weeks for this remote and it finnally came in. Right away I plugged it in and started to play, and right away I was impressed by the quality and distance away I could play. Never agian will I have to stand upclose to the television to keep from pulling my Wii off the table and never agian will I be exposed to harmful rays coming from the television (lol). Great remote, I highly recommend them for Smash Bros fans.

I bought a third party star wars themed gamecube controller a couple of years back because it was cheap and I wanted to try out some gamecube games for the wii.
Once I got this one from playasia, i know ill never touch the old controller anymore. It feels less stiff than 3rd party ones and I believe this controller was made specifically for the wii because the instruction manual actually teaches you how to plug it into a wii.

If you own a wii, u'll definitely want to consider buying this since there are more and more games that allows you to use the gamecube controller.

Nothing beats an official controller. the extra long cable is a plus and it works like any other GCN controller. it's a great base color for painting over also.

And now that I got a controller for myself and my Bro in gaming, I can enjoy Super Smash Bros. Brawl and perform all of my moves on demand, as I want them. While I usually can manage with any 3rd party controller (and sometimes prefer it on PS2, Xbox, and SNES), the Nintendo controller DOES perform better than another other gamecube controller. And it matches the Wii, so what more could you ask for?

The best thing about this sleek iPod-white GameCube controller is the longer cord than what I'm used to. I sit a good eight feet or so from my console, and I'm able to sit there comfortably with a good deal of slack. With this, I honestly don't have a whole lot of reason to use my WaveBird, considering I like the lower portion of the controller to be open.

Plus, the buttons and joysticks feel more responsive and fluid. Although maybe that's just because it's brand new and I haven't held a brand new GameCube controller in several years.

I'll likely buy another one soon.

Seriously, The GameCube controller is the best controller I've every used. It is the pinnacle, the holy grail of console controllers. As fascinating, and innovative as the Wii's nunchuk combo is... the GameCube controller is just perfect, and this white one with the extended cord is the best! It was worth every penny to buy a brand spankin' new one. You'll love the new smell as you pull it out of it's nice little box. The tight rubber analog sticks just scream out for a replay of Zelda: Wind Waker, or some Rogue Squadron 2. (Smash Melee is my favorite, but I'll stick with my old WAVEBIRD for that.) Just got Ikaruga, so when that comes, I'll be putting my new white GC controller to some serious good use.

Well, that was a lot of extraneous info, but the bottom line is; BUY THIS CONTROLLER! It's worth it! Plus, if it's hot enough, maybe Nintendo will release it here in the U.S. as well. Also, it's a much better option for many of Wii's Virtual Console games, at least N64 games. (I love it for Metal Slug too.)
