Using the Game Cube Game Boy Player you can finally play all your favorite Game Boy (standard, Color or even Advance) games on the big TV screen. The Game Cube Game Boy Player attaches to the bottom of the Nintendo Game Cube NTO which the game cartridge can be inserted. Games will be controlled either via the Game Cube Pad or using a real Game Boy Advance (an additional cable will be required).
Please note that due to the region protection of the Game Boy Player startup disc, this product will only work on Japanese Game Cube machines or American units modified to play Japanese games.
A Good Buy! It does play Gameboy games extremely well and matches my Platinum Gamecube very nicely. A must for any serious NINTENDO fan. A good upgrade from the Super Gameboy on SNES.

Excellent! Works like a charm! You could get either the Freeloader or the startup disc from Nintendo in order for this to work on North American consoles. Shipped the same day and arrived in 10 days after customs!

MUST HAVE!! I GOT THE PLATNIUM EDITION GAME CUBE BEFORE THE GBA PLAYER EVER CAME OUT. WHEN IT RELEASED STATE SIDE I WAS HEART BROKEN WHEN I LEARNED WE WERE ONLY GONNA GET THE BLACK VERSION. I'M BIG ON HAVING THINGS MATCH, AND THANKS TO PLAY-ASIA I NOW HAVE A MATCHING PLATNIUM GBA PLAYER TO GO WITH MY GAME CUBE. THE FACT THAT IT'S JAPANESE ENCODED IS NO PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE FREE LOADER COMBO PACK THEY SENT ME. NOT ONLY CAN I PLAY GAMES FROM ANY REGION ON MY GAME CUBE I CAN PLAY MY AMERICAN GBA GAMES ON MY GBA PLAYER!! THANX PLAY-ASIA FOR EXCELENT SERVICE AND FAST DELIVERY ON MY ORDER!!!
