Disappointed... It was really disappointing how fast
this product got boring. Why did they remove adding codes? If someone enters an invalid code that make their game freeze, then that's their problem. The blame wouldn't go to the company that made the cheating device.
I thought the using other countries' games was pretty useless and it breaks the purpose of the action replay. Sure, it can be interesting but it's ruining the point of the action replay. It's pointless. Why did Datel change code interactivity into this kind of interactivity? It's dumb beyond words.
Datel, this was a horrible version. I don't give a dang about beating a dumb game or having something unlimited, I give a dang about having fun making codes, trying them out, sharing them on the internet; I once was into the gameshark for N64. I didn't use any cheats until I found out that you could add your own. So, it was awesome making your own. But the new version of the GC action replay, is too limited on adding your own codes.
Datel, if you want better sales on the next version, I suggest you allow adding your own codes in. Otherwise, I'll have to look for the older version which doesn't work on the Wii and plus there's problems with my gamecube disk cover or the inside. I rather use the older version and have my gamecube fixed and I use my Wii for gamecube games. This is very unfair because I didn't know that there was multiple versions and I heard that you could add your own codes.
Here are some recommendations for the next version:
1*Have the "Add Your Own Code Function"
2*Have a big list of warnings that it's your fault if you enter a bad code and your game freezes/breaks.
3*Be able to edit, add, or toggle on/off codes during gameplay using a device that connects to the 4th controller socket. (See 8*)
4*Be able to store codes on a regular memory card but it has to be in slot B and the memory card that stores the game data has to be on slot A.
5*A function that turns off codes if the variables aren't used in the game at that moment to prevent the game getting really slow.
6*Something that effects the memory card so it'll ask you if you want the action replay to be used.
7*Allows it to work on the wii.
8*Has something that you can plug into a controller socket that has a wire and the wire connects to a little keyboard containing numbers, letters, and an enter button, used to making codes easier.
9*Fix the fact that it doesn't work with wii half of the time.
10*Loads more quickly.
I hope that they make the version like that and like I said, I was very disappointed in this product. I'm very sure if it includes those ten, nobody would really buy the older version because this would be better, and most of all, nobody would buy this version.

incomplete? Did not have all codes I needed and adding codes was not possible. Even the box says Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess but it's not listed in cheat list.
Sometimes Wii does not want to start this disk but it has been happened only couple of times.

What a mistake.. Made a tremendous mistake by buying this uncompatible AR with the Japanese Wii.
