Great for GC I still use this for Nintendo Puzzle Collection and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, and the games play flawlessly. Shame it can't be used with the Wii, but that's just another reason to keep the ol' GameCube around. :)
Not compatible with Wii 3.3... ...however, out of curiosity after updating it to 4.0, it began working again! (I put it in without accessing the Disc Channel first and the Gamecube logo appeared on the channel.) I've started it up several times, and it seems to have a 90% chance of booting up successfully!
I've been playing Nintendo Puzzle Collection on my Wii lately because of it! It's epic! I fully recommend it, Gamecube or Wii (though mostly Gamecube for those who want to play it safe)!
Wonderful I've heard this item is great, my friend owns the Wii one. I already ordered this and Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, and I can't wait to try it out!

Only on Gamecube While the new Wii Firmware Update rendered it useless on the Wii, it still works perfectly fine on the Gamecube.

i am sad last night without know what happened, i updated my wii, and just found i couldn't use the freeloader anymore. I wasn't too sad though because i had a gamecube and had it since 2005. I checked the bottom of it and it said DOL 101! I froze! I was so sad when i found out i can't use the freeloader, i want to play Battle Stadium D.O.N. soooooooooo bad.

No Longer Wii Compatible Buyer Beware! As of today, 8/7/2007, the newest Wii online update will no longer allow this freeloader to work on the wii. Thus, it is only compatible with the gamecube (which obviously it still works good for). A sad day for the freeloader indeed.
Action Replay For just $5 more, you could buy the Action Replay, also by Datel, and the AR has FreeLoader built into it. This is only usefull if your on a $25 buget.
Freakin Sweet!!!!!!!!!! When i saw the games battle stadium and naruto, i want them so bad. i thought i would to buy a japanese gamecube, but with the freeloader, it's freakin sweet!!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars!
Free loader I love the freeloader it's so cool and very easy to use but I can't wait till Datel comes out with the freeloader for the Wii and Datel please hear me out and make a freeloader for the PS2 I have lots of unopened Import games and I wish to play them one day.
pretty neat thing This free loader is he best way to play any region games on any gamecube system. Im still waiting for the free loader own the wii because i have the knew bleach game on th wii and i cant play it yet.
No title Lets just hope datel can make a freeloader for wii. This is nice but not worth it becuase I already have the last version which works fine on the gamecube. If you need a freeloader and never have gotten one then this is a good thing for you.
An inexpensive (and great) way to play import GameCube games. If you're looking to play import GameCube titles on your GameCube (or Wii) and don't necessarily want to purchase an import GameCube console, then the purchase and use of Datel's excellent FreeLoader is pretty much your only alternative. It's easily affordable, and doesn't void your console's warranty. All you need to do is place the disc in your console, then remove it and insert the import GameCube game you wish to play and it loads up. Simple, easy, and cheap. Can't get much better than that.

No title freeloader is awsome. Now I don't have to wait for the american version of Naruto....that is if it is releasing here. Naruto 2,3,4 all work well. Only problem is I can't read Japanese.
Works very well! Just got this today with my Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, and it works like a charm! It converted my US Gamecube to Universal, which means with this disc, it can play anything! Very cheaper than buying a Japanese Gamecube! Thanks Play-asia! You're the best!

(Twitch Twitch) Still Waiting on the Freeloader to come to it's new home!! I ordered it last week and Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 but they haven't come yet. Must retain myself.....MUST PLAY!! (I Heard great things about the Freeloader on Naruto Sites! They say just put it in and it will quickly ask: US JAP or PAL!! It's really fast and cheap too) (Play Asia is probably the best place to get import games and stuff. Everywhere I go Play Asia has a good word.)
Buh Bye PAL only reading GameCube, Hi international Cube! If you have a game cube, YOU NEED THIS. I live in Europe, Portugal and Paper Mario 2 will never COME OUT HERE because here the GCube has fallen, AND NOW i have that game, and with this simple GC disk, I CAN PLAY EVERY IMPORT IN THE WORLD! If you haven't yet, BUY THIS.
Must Get! The freeloader is a dream come true for me, now I am able to play any import on the gamecube. It is so easy to use, and its cheaper and safer then trying to Mod your cube. I got mine in five days, Thanks, Play asia for making me into an international gamer so easily!
I love imports! this import enabler is great. just pop in your gamecube and then put in your game and you're set. now i can play all my imports with no problem.
Works like a dream! Recommended for anyone who wants to play imported japanese or US games in Europe. Extremely easy to use and haven't encountered any problems with any of my games on my PAL-GCube. If your playing japanese and US/PAL games, I recommend buying own memory card for japanese game saves as saving japanese games will wipe any PAL/US data from the card.
Great for imports It works great, and it's very easy to use!! A must buy for fans of imports!!
However, have a second memory card handy. If you try and use your memory card with save data of games from your own country on it, that data will be erased and replaced by the import game's data, so beware!!
I can finally play one of my most favorite games!!! It can be a little tricky to use, but use read the simple instructions included with the Free Loader and it's all good! This is AWESOME!!! I highly recommend it!

Great Investment!! Best buy Ive made for the cube!! The game range in Australia for the gamecube is farily limited so I was quite intrigued to hear about free loader. After buying a copy I can now import all the best games from over the world and play them on my box at home! Great buy! Highly recommended!!!

It's cool! To be honest, when I first placed the order on Play-Asia, I had my doubts....But, the thing is, that the guys (and gals!) working there are really great! My freeloader was delivered to my doorstep (literally!), at a great price and everything is working perfectly!! Get One Now! This is a very good product, and very helpful, instead of buying a USA Console or whatever, just import the games and use it as a bootdisc. It can't stuff up your console, so no modifications, and very cheap. Get one now!

You will never regret it!!!! I'm a hard core gamer and sometimes can not wait for a Nintendo GameCube game to come to the U.S. So this little device is perfect and easy to use for inports of games you just can not wait for to come out in your region! Since the GameCube is playing a game from a different region I recommend having another memory card for that inport region (all memory cards work for all region Nintendo GameCubes) because U.S. saves and Japanese saves CAN NOT be on the same memory card. The system will format your memory card automatically. It is simple to use and works on almost every game for the Nintendo GameCube. Plus they update the versions/model so newer FreeLoader discs might be able to play certain games that the older model/versions could not in the past (my VERSION is 1.06B) . All and all it's worth every penny!!! And creates a library of games you might not have had if the game never came to your region!

Good times Freeloader lets me play imported games for much cheaper than modding my Cube or buying another Japanese Cube. Only downfall is that you can't save if the game checks the memory card (Donkey Konga does) Otherwise, works perfectly
free loader this three loader is great it has turnt my gamecube into and international gamecube. i can now play imported game like viewtiful joe and animal crossing. u should definatly get this if u dont wont to pay £450 on a panasonic q.
