Terrific old school shoot'em up
This 1986 Famicom shooter - notorious for legendary Hudson personality Takahashi Meijin's insane speedrun (Youtube it!) - makes an excellent entry to Nintendo's lavishly designed Famicom Mini series.
Unlike most vertical shooters from the era Star Soldier still remains a bag of fun, and pretty challenging too. Nice!

Retro goodness
This is a very unforgiving shmup - if you have the time and the patience though you will find an excellent game underneath that's well worth the purchase. DEfinitely worth the effort.
