10 OUT OF 10 ALL DA WAY!!!!!!!!! I Like the way you get to make up your own story line because i like to copy the story lines that i see on both Raw and Smackdown shows. the only thing i don't like is creating your own superstar because im so used to the original superstars that be on the two name brand shows. But Overall, this game is a Knock out for wrestling fans. I usually like watching the computer fight each other so i can pretend like im watching either raw or smackdown. This game is going to be a collecter's item in like 10 or 15 years from now.
Best Smackdown game yet! I've been playing my brother's copy of this game while waiting for mine to arrive, and it's easily the best Smackdown game in ages.
The gameplay will be familiar to anybody who's played Smackdown 2009, but the range of abilities has been expanded, with four different grappling positions now available, which you can freely change to on the fly once you have initated a strong grapple. Countering has been simplified as you will now only need to use the R2 button, but it requires more precise timing to keep things balanced. Also you can no longer store finishers, instead you can use signatures once your momentum is high and if you pull one off, you instantly max out your momentum bar and gain your finisher (which as in 2009, will disappear if you don't use it quickly).
The ability to create your own storylines is positive boon to WWE fans who've been aching to see their favourite storylines in the game. Being able to share anything you create means players will always be able to access new content made by the community.
The only downside I've encountered so far is that CAW wrestlers can only appear in custom storylines 10 times. Why this limitation exists, I'm not sure, but I've been able to work around it for the most part. Hopefully it's something that could be improved with a patch!
