Dragon Ball Z: Budokai With birthdays close together, I recently bought 7 Wii games for my 2 boys (ages 5 and 8). This is the game they love the most! They love all aspects of this game - spending half of their time choosing which characters to be. The action is simple enough to learn quickly and colorful enough to keep them entertained for hours.
Japanese Version Much Better!! Original voices, original anime musics... US version only have the option to change the voices ENG/JAP .. but the music of Japanese version makes all the difference... Best DBZ game ever!!!
The best DBZ game to date I also played Sparkling! Neo and in Sparkling! Meteor there are improvements, like more characters to play with, easy special techniques (now is enough to press one direction of the remote's d-pad and then make the same movements that an assistant shows on the edge of screen). Also, it's great to be able to select the music when you play vs mode.
Ah! I almost forgot, there's an online fighting mode via Nintendo Wi-Fi, a great addition to an already great game.
If you are a DBZ fan, you can't let this game pass by, go get it!

This game is good This game is great and I only got it for the japanese voices and the background music. It is basically the same as the english version (which I prefer because I watched DBZ in english). Everything else is the same as the english version
Best Dragonball Z game ever made Hundreds of characters, lots of game modes, more depth to the gameplay, faster battles, and better graphics
A lot of the battles can be quite funny, as to who you can battle, i mean say Vs, so you might use kid goku vs oh i dont know, the guy from the world tournament saga that beat up videl or gohan for example
quite a few other modes, i think dbz fans would enjoy too, beats budokai 2 by far, and also this is out on Wii sometime you may want that but if you have a ps2, get this
