This gotta be the best naruto game up to date.At first i wanted to wait because i didnt think i would be able to beat it in japanese but i just got it & when i played it i realized to beat the game all u need is common since.
The best parts about this game is story mode & vs mode cause the there are 62 playable characters & u can make up a team in story mode

I love this game!! I can't get enough of it. This game has so many charecters in it. They have new jistus, new fight sequences alot of pts characters in this game. This is the ultimate Naruto game for the PS2.

FAV NARUTO GAME
This game is amazing. Even without knowledge of japanese language I was able to beat the story and unlock all characters and supports. It was the first japanese PS2 game I ever orderd and I still play it to this day

Great game! Has material from Shippuden season 2
Narutimate Accel 2 (which will eventually be Ultimate Ninja 5) goes beyond the Shippuden material in Accel 1, to cover Season 2 of the anime.
Thus, a plethora of new characters include Yamato, Sai, (new) Kabuto, 4 Tails Kyuubi Naruto, and yes, (new) Sasuke Uchiha.

I'm not really a fan of the bandit fights in story mode, but it is a minor incovenience in an otherwise great, fun game. Naruto fans and fans of the Narutimate/Ultimate Ninja series will deeply enjoy this!

this game is great a must buy with narumate hero 3 the reason i say that is because if you have the saved data of narumate hero 3 you get them at the begining of the game

This game is everything I've expected. It has great graphics, a great story line and the combats are awesome. The only thing I didn't like is that you can't turn off the assist option, because sometimes the assists get on your nerves when they interrupt you let's say while you do a combo...
I recommend Naruto Shippuden Narutimate Accel 2 to every Ps2 owner out there, but you should have some company who want to play with you, because if not then it gets boring... the artificial intelligence of the computer isn't that good; that means that there is no true enemy for a good gamer.

Narutimate Accel 2
This game is awesome. New characters will make an appearance from the anime; Chiyo, Sai, Deidara, Sasori and even Sasuke. In the RPG mode, you can bring 2 other members to help you in the field which is the first time in the Narutimate series. There's also buddy system in the ultimate jutsu and you can even summon selected friend for aid in the VS mode. For first timers, you don't have to waste any sweat. This game is relatively easy. You can finish the game in no time, unless you have trouble understanding japanese language. The graphics are as beautiful but still the same with the first Shippuden Narutimate standard. With the Hero Mode and more characters to look for, this game will leave you drooling for more.

Absolutely Great
This game is amazing. All the new characters are enough reason to buy if you're a fan, and they're all pretty well rounded, but there's so much more to offer. The RPG mode (Master Mode) was really cool with the party system, and there are so many extra things to do after you beat it. Hero Mode on this one was basically the same as the others, but done a little better and goes a little farther. The most exciting part of this game for me was actually the fact that it went through two arcs (Gaara and Sasuke Rescue II), which means if they do indeed do that with the next game, we'll be seeing characters from Hidan and Kakuzu all the way up to Sasuke's team of Karin, Suigetsu, and Juugo. This game is great though, if you like the series and haven't got this yet, pick it up!

it good but the story line is short and you cant unlock anyone without a memory card and you can beat the story line within 2hours of less..but its a good game i guess ..i cant write a good review cuz i dont have my memory card back

Man I order this game three days ago and i still playing this game. I mis school just for me to beat the whole game and Sasuke is the best charcter and you will fall in love with this game just buy it and see what happen its better then the shippuden game fro the wii becasue the one that is for the wii is kind of stpuid because it do the same fighting style from the first clash of ninja game and that piss me off because it gets boring after a couple of days. and that is stupid. see u later who ever read this shit so buy it and u will be playing this for a long time for like a year u konw i know i can't write but i'm just happy because THIS IS THE BEST GAME IN WORLD NOT REALLY BUT IT IS THE BEST ANIME GAME AROUND U WILL IN JOY YOUR SELF SO SEE YA.

I ordered mine a few days ago hope it comes soon I'v played this game before and its great I say its worth every cent all the characters and story mode game play only thing its lacking is they should have at least threw in Zetsu or Tobi to play as I mean they showed up in the anime they should have at least threw in one of them as a surprise or something but overal i'll give this game a 5 out of 5

It's ok at best
For me the only disapointment was the lack of new characters. I mean, i'm happy that time-skip sasuke
is in but it kinda was already expected. They could have threw in zetsu but he's not in. he has already made a few appearances in the anime.the combination
specials are cool but i expected more of them. to be honest the whole game just feels like a lackluster

I'am still shocked how good this game is and how much fun it contains! And I also was glad to see furigana, so for many gaijin, even with basic japanese knowledge, If you can read hiragana / katakana you can enjoy the Master Modus and the whole game a lot more. So I wish you all a good time with this game!

Naruto Newest installment
im no fan of the single mode, but multiplayer is feakin awesome but lol obviously need someone to play. too bad every fighting game doesn't have online because none deserve it more then this game just imagine me as Sasori or Sasuke cut and ripping everyone that comes in my path or blasting everyone and everthing that comes at my path as 4-tailed kyuubi naruto with my charkra beam/wave now that would be so killa. Guess I can only dream 4 now lol. PS3 PLEASE FUFILL ONE OF MY DREAMS LMFAO ;P and thats my comment lata guys.

I am getting this game and from all the videos and the info. I've seen, I'd say that this game rocks! There is so many characters from naruto and naruto shippuden including four taild naruto and TS (time skip) Sasuke. You have so many options where to battle. If you're not someone who likes to battle, then you can enjoy the wonderful story mode based on naruto shippuden's manga. One of the best features I think that the game has is the multiplayer.

On the note of this game
I was looking forward to this game upon its announcement as it would be the last PS2 game of this franchise to be released. I was however let down by this product, the campaign took me the space of 2 hours to complete which does not allow much of an indepth and fulfilling single player. I also found the camera and combat system within the single player increadibly irritating. With every bandit I just grew more and more irritated.

Now at this point I bet your wondering why have I given it 3 stars. I have to say the multiplayer is this games strong point, the buddy system is very entertaining and a worthy addition to the franchise. The new stages are also fresh as well as the large selection of characters, multiplayer is very entertaining.

i got this game yesterday and was very pleased! i also got a bonus CD (on naruto arcs )which pretty much unlocked every charchter in the game which made me squeal with delight! i would reccommend this game to every narutard worldwde. Honestly, the master mode, character selection and voices, and graphics exceeded my expectations expecially the Akatsuki Hideout stage! Love the Chiyo and Sakura ougi>< i hope NA3 will have more Akatsuki and Snake members! *squeals and dances like crazy BOTTOM LINE: 5/5 this is one tubular game that you will definitely fall in love with if you love NARUTO!

Finally
As expected narutimate accel 2 is an amazing follow up to narutimate accel. The buddy system is not annoying however much i though it was going to be but it does take a few matches to remember R1 is not your weapon cycle button anymore!

As for for the story mode (hero mode) it is as good as narutimate accel with the addition of character level progression and you can also alternate between the characters within your 3 man cell. It is also generally easy to understand whether you can read (or speak) japanese beings it is pretty linear to the extent that you can pretty act out the storyline yourself.

New characters (such as the ones listed on here) are surely welcome and are easily unlock able through beating them in story mode. There are few revised move sets for a select few characters including new ougi's (specials) for the likes of gaara, orochimaru etc. And there are some very good tag ougi where you and your support character can perform a ougi together but you have to be teamed with someone relevant. like naruto/sakura, deidara/sasori, itachi/kisame.

overall a brilliant game you can spend days just playng vs mode when you've unlocked all the characters.
