Really good buy for the SS series I have to say, I was a little weary to buy this game. But when I played it, I couldn't believe the overwhelming amount of characters and "grooves" you can choose. Think of Capcom V.S. SNK 2 in the sense of the large cast and the grooves. The gameplay is excellent, very fast for a Samurai Showdown/Spirits game (I have played them all) and I believe this is worth getting. Again, online does not work if you don't live in Japan, but otherwise, it is a great game for your collection and for tourneys!
Best Samurai Spirits ever! This is the best Samurai Spirits game ever. With complete characters, complex system and fast loading time & fast gameplay (don't compare it with Guilty Gear series).
If only there's a feature to make a smooth graphics, this game could be a perfect one (Neogeo Battle Colliseum and KOFXI has a feature for soften graphics, while Samurai Spirits hasn't).

Tenkaichi indeed For those of you who know nothing of the Japanese language, "Tenkaichi" translates roughly or properly to "Best in the world" which this game certainly is.For Samurai Spirit (Shodown) fans, this is the best you can get so far. Many will return for nostalgiac reasons, but new-comers to the series will find a fantastic game here as well. The art-work is beautiful, each character is fantasticly drawn, and each individual charcters special is marvelous to observe. From Galford's "Gotoku No Wolf" to my personal favorite, Iroha's classy "No Curtain".
No-The, Gotoku-Like,.
In short, grab this game, it is SNK's odd 2 fighter, much like Vampire (Darkstalkers) is the odd 2D fighter for Capcom. If you can, pick them both up, please do so, neither of them gets enough credit, no-where near as much as they deserve.
