WOW!!
These game blew my mind .. between all of the extras (data battles - es fight - roxas fight .. extra cutscenes .. everything) AND the remake of chain of memories .. these games are probably 2 of the greatest around for the PS2 .. definately worth investing your time and money into

The better version
KH2FM is the one to play, all the extra scenes, boss fights and critical mode make it the best version.
Voice acting is in english and that's about it but even then it's not hard to understand. You can find translation guides online for menus, abilities, the new cutscenes and everything you might need

A whole new experience once again
KH2 Final Mix+ not only adds tons of new stuff to the main game but also has the well lover Chain of Memories (CoM) game from GBA. CoM Final Mix+ is completely overhauled to 3D controls and much better graphics. This game is a much have for any KH lovers. The spoken language is still English and the menus/commands are in Japs.

Excellent game!
Having seen cutscenes online of this version of KH2 and seeing all the new features it had compared to the english game, I had to have it. Sadly I do not know Japanese so I cannot understand a few of the added cutscenes, but with some guesswork, I can still play the game. The O and X buttons are swapped so that takes a bit of getting used to. I really like the fact that there is a theater in this version of the game so I don't have to replay the entire world to get to the 1 cutscene I was looking for anymore. It even has the Atlantica Musicals there that you can watch without having to press any buttons throughout the song. A few small graphics here and there were changed, including a redo of Roxas' face. There are also some fights here and there from Re:CoM. KH2 FM+ also comes with a Japanese version of Re:CoM, that I had fun seeing the cutscenes to and listening to the Japanese version of Simple and Clean at the beginning and end. I had a lot of fun playing this and Re:CoM and have moved to getting the Japanese language version of KH2. :D This is a great game and if you had a lot of fun with KH2, you'll definitely love the new features they added in the final mix edition.

You really need to know Japanese, or the game!
For this to work, and be accessible you either really need to know Japanese, or Kingdom Hearts 2 + Re:Chain of Memories really well, otherwise you'll have trouble following the plot..
