Wow this is the perfekt RPG. it is VERY sad that it never comes to US....

the Story is very deep, action packed, and very sad too...
the soundtrack is one of the best i ever heard, and the graphics truly wonderful hand painted 2D characters :)

While the battle system is perhaps not as deep as some might like in a strategy game (all fights can be meticulously planned in advance, but the Rotation System is the only real interaction in the battles themselves (although it's very cute when everybody leaps rows...)), Venus and Braves offers likeable characters, a brilliant plot, gorgeous graphics and music and some interesting twists on the genre. It's also fairly easy to follow for those with little to no Japanese, with a great deal of well-acted spoken dialogue. Highly recommended.
