The newest in the series of Final Fantasy, it has thrown away alot of old traditions from its predecessors, though this time for the better. With it's fresh story and unique system of battle, it by far, is one of the greatest RPGs of our time. The story takes place in the land of Spira, where an everlasting war has been taking place. The evil they call "Sin" has been gradually destroying Spira and bringing down all their hope. The protagonist, Tidus, is caught up in this constant conflict against Sin. With his new-found friends from the land of Spira, they embark on an epic quest to defeat Sin for good!

It changed my life.
FFX is nothing short of a masterpiece to me this game changed my life and the way I look at video games. I had this world at my fingertips with what felt like a bunch of your best friends by your side aiding you in your quest to save Spira and just having a great time getting to know these characters over the game. This is a masters work and square is still having a hard time trying to come up with something that is as good as this game was, its going to be a hard task since this game is pretty much prefect in my eyes. If you have not played it, pick it up now this game is still AMAZING over 10 years later. The best game the ps2 has to offer for sure. Love you Square~

Glad I got the game, but...
The game is Great for the most part, but I was personally disappointed to find that you can not switch to the Original Japanese Dialogue, nor can you enter even kana for names, you'd think that for this coming from Japan, that it would at least include the japanese dialect and naming capability. Instead it's just english influence taking over, again. Don't get me wrong. I Do appreciate where I was born. But Most, if not all, videogames originate in Japan.
Otherwise, I think this game is great and if you're english speaking, then you should definitely consider this. If you're looking for it's original language, you'll have to find it elsewhere. The challenge is good, the graphics are good. And my favorite characters since I 1st sampled it are still, Kimahri Ronso and Ryukku. You can name the Aeons, but it's still uselessly only in english. Not I would necessarily want to change their names, but I would like to get their names as close to their original names as possible. That would mean in kana. But I guess you can't have everything. I've got other games including FFVII International where the initial naming panels are kana (both hirigana and katakana with even the full english alphabet if you wish). And there are 3 panels, respectively, for each alphabet. Which is why I don't understand the limits on a Japanese version to not include It's 2 panels of alphabet format. Anywho, the 'main character' whom you might want to name is evidently the only character you can name, given the difficulty of the extra voice cast, but still with only the full english alphabet. T_T

Final Fantasy X International
This game features only English dialog with an option of Japanese or English subtitles. When I read reviews that it included Japanese and English, I thought that might have included a Japanese dialog option as well. It's a bit unfortunate since I was hoping to play the Japanese version, but with all the bonus content of this game.
