The definitive version of this classic game So much has already been said about Wanda to Kyozou that it seems redundent to talk more about it, BUT if you have not yet experienced the game - this is the way to do it. The Hong Kong version is unique in that it keeps all of the beauty of the original Japanese version's graphic design (phenomenal booklet, artwork, case, and disc art) AND has multi language support - subtitles in Japanese, English, and a new Chinese translation! Its rare for Hong Kong games to be even Chinese, but this contains pretty much all versions of this game released worldwide. It is missing the art cards of the European release, but the manual is great as it is and makes up for this - search for this one if you can!
Simply amazing! This is an amazing deal for an amazing game! I just recieved it today, and have been hooked since I turned it on. I am on the 6th Colosi now and am still very much addicted. It may seem like a repedative game, but each Colosi is very unique and it takes a lot of figuring out to defeat each one. The stunning graphics are also a plus! Great graphics and addictive gameplay for a game under $20! What more could you ask for?

be nice to the colossi! It could be the greatest game I played, ever!
Incredible!! one of the all-time greatest games ever. The graphics are beautiful and dark, the fighting is amazing, the no loading huge boundless world is amazing! and fighting the collosus!! wow!! no one should have to miss out on this incredible game.
not a game... not a game at ALL! This item here shouldn't be considered a game, is a total work of ART, not just the graphics... EVERY single detail blows your mind away! riding your horse feels like you are REALLY riding a horse, not that "Zelda" riding style, using your bow, or simply walking by the ocean... Zelda could learn a thing or two (and please keep in mind that I really love Zelda!)... I'm not talking about the music, the word "perfect" or "sublime" don't even start to describe how well it blends with the situations... fighting against a Colossi is the best feeling in the world, you've never had such an epic battle in any other game... honestly, this should be in a museum, is not just a game, is ART, a TOTAL MUST HAVE!!!

Remember ICO?!? If you have played ICO you must buy this game, expecially because is in multilanguage, and English is present!
The game might be huge, but small points to consider. The concept of the game is very original, but there are a few negative issues in the game.
First of all the camera can be a real problem, especially at times during battling a Colossus. Second of all there's nothing to puzzle, except only finding your way to the next Colossus to defeat, which are about 16, to save a young girl's life. Your Light Sword will exactly tell you the road, so not much fun of searching if you ask me. And third of all the game is short, in about 9-10 hours you can finish this game.
Positive issues about this game is not only the originality but also the surroundings which are very beautiful. You get the same feeling as in Ico that you're all by yourself without anyone's interfering. Standing or hanging on a Colossus can bring a massive experience which you've never encountered before in a game and to be honest, at time I felt sorry to kill such a stone creature ;).
For the price the game is sure worth buying but one advice... when you get crazy by the camera in the beginning, don't give up! It will be better after that ;).

A MASTERPIECE... Amazing graphics, state of the art animation and the use of HDR makes this game technologically impressive. The art direction is probably the best I have seen, the soundtrack is simply beautiful and the game play is unique. If you haven't played this game, what are you waiting for? Get it now!

Boring Ride through some fields, kill a big monster, repeat. That is ALL there is to this game. Just a series of boss fights, with the majority of them not even being a challenge. Most of the beasts don't have a chance once you climb onto them, their attempts to shake you off are pathetic. And some of these 'Collossi' aren't even very big. Makes me wonder who thought of the title, because it certainly doesnt make sense when the smaller bosses are considered. If you liked ICO (another yawn-fest in my opinion) you will probably love this.

Classic but not too much exciting You can easily spot out the similarity from ICO. Same graphic quality (wondering why there is no improvement, not even a little bit), same physical engine, giddy camera angle, similar characters and again not much talking through the whole game.
The story line is simple and straight forward. Maybe is too short for some players. That's why you have to beat the game times and times again to get all the hidden sweets. I personally don't really like playing one game too many times, especially this type of game which you get nothing rewarded to be carried to the second round.
I like the music of this game. The time mode (in hard difficulty) is challenging.
Wish the next one can be better, at least in graphic.

IT IS COLOSSAL !!! What should I write over this game ??? If you like "ICO" you will love "Shadow of the Colossus". For non-japanse this version is good to play because the subtitle and the instruction are in english so nothing can go wrong.
You will fall in a wonderful adventure when you ride on your horse through the countryside.
One of the greatest game you can buy for the PS 2!!!
From me a highly recommendation !!!
Shadow of the Colossus What an amazing game this is, ive never felt so much freedom in a game it's serene, ps2 owners do not miss this title along with the great god of war, awsome stuff wait till you see the bosse's
