One of the best RPG series from the 16 bit era
One of the major selling points of this collection is the fact that all the games (minus the Game Gear one) can be played in English.

The collection that recommends itself...
Since Sega have shown no interest in providing the gaming public with a bona fide fifth installment in this revered series, reliving it on your PS2 is the next best thing.
Amazingly all four games are here in both Japanese AND English. The Japanese-only text adventures (based on PS II) and the Game Gears titles are a nice bonus as well. If you've never played any of these games before, then there's no time like the present. And yes, the original Phantasy Star remains the best 8-bit RPG ever made. Very special.

Great compilation of classic jrpgs
Phantasy Star is a great series of classic jrpgs, and you can have all of them for less than 30 usd. Now, you need to have a ntsc/j ps2, but since they are really cheap now, I see no reason to buy one if u live in Europe or America.
Also, this compilation gives you the option to play the games in English, which is great, and also has several display optios for those of us with LCD or Plasma screens.
It contains PS I throug IV, and it even throws in an extragame in the form of GameGear's Phantasy Star Gaiden (which is also the only game that comes in japanese only)
Buy this game, u wont regret it.
