Random encounters, customizable equipment and a very unique battle system.

The story isn't bad but not great.

And the game feels very easy once you get a hang of the battle system.

This is an incredibly fun RPG. The battle system is very unique and the storyline is hilarious! If you only have played the second one, I recommend that you play this one too. It's way better than the second one and the characters are very charming! With the third one in the series coming out soon, you can't go wrong with this.

Average, but not bad
It's a pretty average RPG. Nothing outstanding, but not fully forgetable. Don't expect something on the level of Final Fantasy, and you'll find enough enjoyment out of it.
