In Kingdom Hearts II, players travel through the worlds of Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mulan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Steamboat Willie and Tron as well as revisit worlds from the original, including Aladdin, Disney Castle, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh and Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The game features more than 100 Disney characters, and also introduces new, original characters such as Roxas, members of Organization XIII and the Nobodies, all designed by Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura, director and character designer of the Kingdom Hearts series.
Kingdom Hearts II features a new and improved real-time battle system which provides an increased selection of commands, such as performing special attacks and cooperative attacks with members of your party, adding strategy to the gameplay. Players can also perform the "Drive" to transform main character Sora into his various forms, altering his skills and abilities. Examples include the Brave Form, where Sora absorbs the power of Goofy allowing him to use two Keyblades; the Wisdom Form, where Sora absorbs the power of Donald allowing him to increase his magic power; and the Master Form, where Sora absorbs the power of both Donald and Goofy and increases both his attack and magic powers. These new features bring additional challenges and excitement to the players and further enhance gameplay.
Japanese voices are amazing! I like the English version, but the Japanese version is so much better.
Good story, great characters. Recommended for anyone with a PS2. This game is most definitely a must-have.

AWESOME (again!)!!!!! If Kingdom Hearts 1 was not enough now you have Kingdom Hearts 2 to enjoy!!!! again the controls, the worlds and the story makes this game completely worth buying!!! You'll simply LOVE THIS GAME, another MUST HAVE if you have a PS2! If you get this, you'll not be dissapointed

AMAZING!!!! I play this game over and over again and I don't get bored. This definitely won't disappoint take my word and if you really really like this buy Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ it's way better than this but try this first.
Awesome sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts 2 is absolutely amazing, there must be over a hundred characters altogether from the worlds of Disney and Square Enix. Sora's fighting moves and style are vastly improved - the things you can accomplish with him (and also Roxas in his fight with one of the Organization XIII) are mindblowing. The story is also deeper and has more twists than the original, while the animation of the three heroes Sora, Donald and Goofy is fantastic. Highly recommended - it's no wonder this game had 39/40 from Famitsu (only one less than the sublime Final Fantasy XII).
Delivery from Play-Asia was also VERY fast!

play kh1 or kh chan of memories first, don't really have to play that one though.
50 dollars in american money. it's worth it. it won't let you down. but i can't say it's better than the first one.
More of the Same If you liked the first Kingdom hearts it is an awesome game. The only drawback that I saw is that if you played the chain of memories game you are looking at alot of information in the flashbacks that you have already seen .It was almost like the second game was designed with the assumption that you hadn't played the gameboy game. All in all though, excellent graphics, the gummy system awesome as always and the CG was awe inspiring.
I love this game! I beat it about a month ago but i love it everything about it!!! Sora rocks you can play as Riku the ending it perfect!! If you havn't ordered this game order it i just know you will love it! :D Go Final Form Sora!

For me it's better than KH 1 because it has an excellent Storyline and even more action than the predecessor. Well, the characters are beautifull designed and the music is fantastic too.

The Best Game Ever! I Love KH2! its even better than part 1! i just finished the game! ( im so sad ) but i might play it again. The characters are so cool too! Sora is so cute! and kairi with long hair, so pretty! Also namine is cuteb and Roxas is HOT! hes jesse mccartneys voice! oh well, i really do hope they have part 3. but like it will come in 2010 :(

Astounding Achievement I advise people to ignore the unintelligent review before me (i've never seen so many !!!!!!). This game is unbelievable. Square-Enix have taken everything from the first game and made it ten times better. The new combat engine is faster and angrier. The graphics are amazing and the voice acting is superb (some English translations can be sloppy and corny). True to the Disney style, you really feel part of the story which never lets you down. Its full of twists and turns, and you never quite know who you're going to run into next. Enjoy it! It's worth any price tag.

The Best game EVER!! I have recently completed the english version of this game, so I can give my opinion that it is without doubt the best game I have ever played! I thought the first Kingdom Hearts was excellent but this one surpasses it in every way. The story is so heartfelt and beautifully told, the animation and the voice acting is spot on and the gameplay is fast and furious - my thumbs have never felt so powerful!
All the Disney and Final Fantasy elements collide in a breathtaking game that I would recomend to anyone.
I love this game I have both the Japanese and English versions, thanks to Play-Asia, and I liked the Japanese voices better... but the game is just perfect anyway, so it sure is a must have

Phenomenal This game truly is out of this world. Just to let US and UK fans know that Square Enix have issued a statement saying that KH2 will be released in the US on March 28th!!
beat it please, i mastered the game to badly, that no one was a chalenge, i beaten it like a month ago, i got all the key blades, sora's drives, etc, i even have the ultamate weapon, and bye the way, ur characters cant go to level hundred, only 99 so there, and i beat the boss soo baldy that it didnt even give me time to play as riku.
Kingdom Hearts 2 This is one of the best games I've ever played. Can't wait for the 3rd one. All my characters are level 100 but its still just as tough to beat the last boss. Sephiroth is a joke compared to this new dude. This is a must-have for any serious gamers.
beaten it yea it is the best, i had beaten my game already and it only took 24 hours, its not an easy game, but it is the best game, the best part is at the end u get to team up with riku and fight the boss who has like 7 forms!!! im not going to say who the boss is, but he is very hard, and i have beaten sephiroth like nothing, my drive is up to 7 and my characters r all on level 90, i love the city level, where u fight a boss and sora runs up the builing and fights the guy, i like how in the beginning the blond hair kid gives riku the oblivion and they fight and riku knocks down the blonde hair kid, tis soo much fun to play this game, just watch out for the crawlings white heartless under the grounds for begginers and, at the middle towards the end of the game, mikey helps u and he is the best!!! AND I FORGOT TO TELL YOU, AT THE END OF THE GAME THE BOSSES LAST FORM, SORA IS GETTING HIS LIFE SUCKED AWAY AND U BECOME RIKU AND HAVE TO SAVE HIM, BUT REMEMEBER RIKU IS GOOD BUT NOT UNBEATABLE GOOD LUCK!!!

Meilleur jeu du moment Tout comme son prédécesseur, Kingdom Hearts 2 est un chef d'oeuvre. Square nous a montré avec Kingdom Hearts 1 qu'on pouvait associé deux univers sans favorisé l'un par rapport à l'autre. Dans ce second volet, la gameplay est plus rapide et plus jouissife. Entre la touche triangle qui permet de faire des combos inimaginables et le système de fusion on ne sait plus où donné de la tête.
Donald et Dingo sont plus combatif que dans le 1(où ils ne faisaient que de nous donner des potions). De nouveaux joueurs sont disponibles.
Je conseil ce jeu à tout fan de Kingdom Hearts ou de Final Fantasy ou même au personne aimant ce type de jeu.
best game of life best plotline, best characters, best fighting system, best worlds, best everything. this is a game u cant miss and if u do ull regret it for the rest of ur life, cause everyone will still be talking about it. its a love story/fighting evil. kind of like inuyasha. ull love it. anyone who likes games from mario to grand theft auto will love it. and for those who dont like video games, ull love it foir the story line. dont miss it
wonderful this is a great game. the fighting system is awesome and the drive is cool. the thing is, you can beat it in less than 15 hours and to me it felt short. sure i skipped some stuff but i only knew about that because of gamefaqs and wutnot. but it's definately worth getting. kh1 wasn't really a game i could play more than once, (too much walking and puzzles) khII on the other hand was a lot more fighting and was good fun indeed. warning!: sephiroth is hard.

Simply amazing! After playing this import of Kingdom Hearts II for only an hour, I knew it was going to be something truly spectacular. After a total of 3 hours I had finished the PROLOGUE! Then all of a sudden, this great game got around 10x greater!!
The revised battle system is excellent and a huge improvement over the original, the Final Fantasy cameos are abundant (Vivi ROX in this game!!!) and the story, although I can't read Japanese, seems to be full of twists and surprises... can't wait for the English version!
I urge anyone who liked the first game to get this import version NOW! Trust me, even though it's all Japanese you WILL want this to play while you wait for March to come around.

KH2 is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! I've gotta applaud Square-enix. They've made yet another beautiful fantasy RPG game. As soon as I saw the prologue, I got goosebumps from the visual effects and color and design. The music by Hikaru Utada was very complementing to the opening video -- I can't get the song out of my head! As far as the gameplay, it was simple, yet fun and challenging. Although, it's Japanese, I love this game because I adore the Japanese dialogue even though I couldn't understand it. I'll just wait for the English version... but until then, I will continue playing the Japanese version. :D
