The Tales of Destiny Director's Cut is based on the 2006 released PlayStation2™ game Tales of Destiny with plenty of new features, including a new game mode called the "Lion's Side", which will make Lion Magnus the main character instead of Stan Aileron, a few new events for sub characters, new carry over features, new voice clips, new dungeon hints and even some more battle difficulty levels for all hardcore Tales fans.
If you happened to miss out on the original release or are a solid Tales fan, then you should definitely check out the Director's Cut. Good news also for everyone who has played the original release as this game supports Tales of Destiny (PS2) save files.
The Premium Box version comes with a nice storage box, a special (different) game case, a Tales of Destiny Illustrations Book (128 pages) and Soundtrack (21 tracks).
In my opinion the greatest Tales game to date! The original Tales of Destiny for the Playsation was one of my favorite RPGs back in my childhood,
even if i couldn't really understand much back then.
For me, this was a must buy.
There's so much improvement it's crazy,
The graphics are better!
The combat is greatly improved, and i mean greatly!
the story got a great overhaul but still retains the spirit that made the original so great!
and lots of extra side quests, new skills and items.
this is what a remake should be.
The limited edition art book is filled with really beautiful, both concept and full fledged art.
The limited soundtrack could really have been better. although this is easily passable.
this is a great tale that will have you spellbound from day one. if you know Japanese there is really no reason not to buy this.

Love it! Already played 4 hours of this! I loved this it's a really nice item! If your a huge Tales fan you can't miss out on this oppertunity! The booklet is filled with wonderful art of the game, and the soundtrack is marvelous! I love this game and this box is so wonderful!
High action packed game, with mystery and love. It's fantastic!
My bad... The product that I purchased was the limited box release. The game is memorable enough without them in my humble opinion. I only just noticed that this review might have seemed dated. Oh well, better pick it up before you're left staring at a degenerate best price or greatest hits cover who knows from now.
