A classic adventure game with a cracking story, moving cinematic audio and a gorgeous art style. You get to play as two different characters, George Stobbart, an American patent lawyer with a very dry sense of humour and Nico Collard, a rather sexy French journalist. As the plot unfolds, both of whom travel to various exotic locations around the world (Paris, Congo, Glastonbury, Prague, Egypt), and ultimately have to work together in a thrilling climax, straight out of a big budget adventure movie.
In my opinion, strong characterisation and witty scripts are rarely found in video games and it makes for a uniquely entertaining experience. The animation and controls are excellent and the interface very satisfying to use. It all feels very relaxing and a nice change from most games that demand quick reflexes.
One criticism is that it's a little too easy. Perhaps best suited to sunday afternoons when you fancy a little mystery and puzzle solving but nothing too frustrating :-)
Overall if you like to think your way through a game occasionally, and like being spoilt rotten with great graphics, music and dialogue on the way, then this game won't disappoint.
It's also worth mentioning that the game contains a language option and can be played entirely in English as well as Japanese.
