Dante, the world's most stylish demon slayer is back to shake the legions of the underworld to their knees in Devil May Cry 2. This time, Dante has a new devilish partner: Lucia, a mysterious and acrobatic heroine. Don't let Dante's handsome face lull you, as he has some moves of his own, including running and jumping on walls, aerial kicking, and the ability to simultaneously shoot in two directions. Unleash your inner demon as you battle hoards of monsters in massive, hellish environments.
Horrible Sequel Want to know how Capcom nearly killed the Devil May Cry series? This little stinkpile.
Gone are Dante's stylish combos, replaced with slow and clunky sword attacks that will make gamers cry as their favorite antihero becomes anything BUT Cooler Than Hell.
Gone is Dante's style, his trash talking, and everything else that makes him cool. Gone is the challenge, gone is everything that made Devil May Cry a masterpiece.
Instead we get a system that's too easy, lets you get away with using your guns against absolutely everything, a lack of learning new moves, a lack of new weapons, but most of all, a lack of style. And the less said about the second playable character, the better.
