The story takes place in western American in the 19th century, where you play as a samurai named Kiryu Goujiro, who battles against cowboys and gangs in the west, to search for his lost brother in America. You can use your blade to bounce back bullets from enemies.
Boring Samurai Western is one of the most boring and uninspired games I have ever played. You basically run around chopping up guys with your sword for 16 levels and then the game ends. There is absolutely zero variety in weapons, the special moves are all lame, you can deflect bullets with your sword but they go off in random directions, and the story could have been written by a 6 year old.
The in-game camera is a horrible mess, it will get snagged on objects meaning you fight blind a lot, but then even when it does work properly there's really nothing exciting to see anyway.
Give this game a miss, if you want to play a cowboy game get GUN, if you want to play a samurai hack'n'slash get Samurai Warriors or one of the countless other similar games.
