my origional review, below yours is fairly accurate to the degree the game is a long as you want to make it, the game has a lot of sidequests, weapon fusions, monsters to hunt, completionists could easily speand over 60 hours + and still have a lot left to do, saying the game is boring is just your opinion, a lot of people liked this game, its well worth the money, and it has a fairly amusing yet epic storyline

better than FFXII??? no
Rogue Gaalaxy is good, but if you have to choose between RG and FFXII go to FFXII, rogue galaxy is too short and boring

the game has literally no load times, the battles are fun but challenging the graphics are beautiful, and the scene that gets you up into "the wide expanse of space"
(im not spoiling.. =P)
is one of the best scenes ive ever seen on a videogame.. so frickin amazing

this game is well worth the price, if you want a great and challenging yet long RPG game to play

Very good, but dungeons could be frustrating for some
Rogue Galaxy is a very polished and quite enjoyable action role playing game. Be aware that it is a dungeon-crawler, and the people who enjoy this the most will be those who like to run through long dungeons fighting off lots of beasties. With the added sub-game elements (insectron, beast hunting), this game could easily take 100 hours of your gaming time. Without the sub-games, it could still take 40-50 hours.
