description
Kingdom Hearts is the story of Sora, a 14-year-old boy whose world is shattered when a violent storm hits his island-paradise home and he is separated from his two closest friends, Riku, a 15-year-old boy, and Kairi, a 14-year-old girl. At the same time, there is turmoil in Disney castle. King Mickey is missing, and Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy set out to find him. On their travels they meet Sora on his own search for his lost friends. The three are told of ominous creatures known as the Heartless - beings without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and as it turns out, manipulated by Disney villains and the ones responsible for the devastating storm. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless, the storm and the disappearance of King Mickey, Sora, Donald and Goofy join forces and heip familiar Disney heroes to save their worlds.

An Incredible Fairy Tale
The start of a now established franchise, the original KH had everything: great gameplay, fantastic music, fun story, Disney AND Square together. The formula couldn't go wrong. A must have for Disney and Square fans alike.
Pros: Disney and Square joining forces. The story utilizes very well the Disney mythos. Great action-RPG gameplay elements.
Cons: Gummi Ship (I don't think anyone actually like this, you just pass through the fast as you can because it's boring). The Square part of the story aren't just as good as the Disney part: Sora and friends are too childish.

The original game that launched a franchise
This game is a must have for anyone who is a fan of both Square Enix a Disney. It's gameplay still stands as some of the best meshing of Rpg and Action genres

what happened when Disney franchise is joined up with Squaresoft (now Square-Enix) characters?
Kingdom Hearts is the answer.
follow the journey of Sora, to fight Heartless with the aid of his friends, both from Squaresoft and Disney characters.
an amazing, awesome, great action-RPG game with great story, gameplay and music.
a must have for RPG fans!
