詳細描述
Tales of Rebirth is the next installment in the "Tales" series. The game is set in a world called Callegeia, where Veigue Lungburg is the main character who was raised in Sules. But a darkness is about to overlap the limited peace the world has seen.
Just perfect. Tales of Rebirth is the best 2D RPG I ever recall playing. It has one of the best battle systems ever, beautiful graphics, a nice soundtrack and a fantastic (though a bit too serious) story. There are many sidequests and stuff to do besides the main story too, which makes for at least 40 hours of play. Seriously, you can't import something better than this.

TALES OF 'REBIRTH As all the tales titles have its theme appeard on its title, 'rebirth' is the theme for T.O.R. This theme is excellently presented by presenting two races, and this is a striking theme to our real world where racism and discrimination are still wide-spread. really impressive story line and good characters and i dare say the battle of this game is the best battle of tales series. buy now!

Very good. A classic in stallment in the tales series. Its really very hard to find anything wrong with this game.Yes, even with it all being in Japanese and me not understanding anything.Challenging, amazing battle system, another great batch of characters...awesome.The only problem I did find with this game were passwords.Dont worry, its not a password save game or anything, its just there are certain points in the game where youll need to insert a password to continue. Passwords + japanese= long toils over the internet looking for them (they ARE there somewhere so dont worry).Excellent game.

Even after Abyss, Rebirth remains the pinnacle of the series. Probably the 2D Tales games last swan song before hitting it in full 3 dimensions a la Legendia and Abyss, Rebirth does away with polygons with beautiful static sprite animations. The classic bells and whistles of the series are back with the battle system being redone from the ground up.
The jutsuwazas as well as the Force Cube will keep you busy for hours on end, always trying new combinations with said characters Force. Character development is also key in the series and thankfully, Rebirth has that in spades. You come to grow with the characters and share their struggles, their laughs and pains.
So surely the game does not disappoint. Pick it up if you're a rabid Tales fan hankering the lost titles of Japan or someone in quest to play a really awesome game. The OST is also composed by Motoi Sakuraba, making it an immediate must buy!

One of the best Tales games! Tales of Rebirth is a masterpiece.
I only played through it once... since I'm not new to the Tales Series (played through all of them) I needed ~41 hours.
That's not bad at all, considering the fact I left the huge bonus dungeon aside.
The gameplay is simply astonishing. Yet the battles are 30 fps, you won't see that at all! Fluid, colorful and smooth, and sometimes so hectic it's hard to keep track (some boss battles, for example).
ToR doesn't use ToD2s grafical system (ToD2 used Eternia-sized sprites and scaled them), and thats very good.
The music is very good. Although it is a bit unusual, it fits the rather artistic overall style of the game very well.
I'm simply in love with this game. Im on my second playthrough and are on Mania mode - which means that this game is just too easy in my opinion, but thankfully there are the dificulty settings and even then the game doesn't get ToD2-styled hard (for you who played that game, you know what I mean. Think of the Barbatos battles)
Recommended for every Tales fan, and every other RPG fan alike. You don't actually need to know japanese, but if you don't, you'll get in trouble with the enhance and force cube system (i didn't even know it was there in the first playthrough....duh!), as well as with some passwords.
(use gamefaqs for them)
A must-buy! Get it now!

Wonderful addition to the Tales series. Since Symphonia was announced for the US, my interest in the Tales series has grown tremendously. To date, I've played Phantasia, Destiny 2, Symphonia and Rebirth. Of all those, I must say that Rebirth is by far my favorite. Not quite done with it, mind you (Only 7 hours in, to be honest), but I feel confident that I can already make such a judgment.
The most improved aspect of this game that makes me hold it in such high regard is the battle system. Rather than the single-line battle platform most Tales games have used or the pseudo-3D plane adopted by Tales of Symphonia, Rebirth uses three parallel lines that can be traveled freely, allowing for more evasive capability and more freedom to move. Of course, this comes at a price. The focus on this game is cooking as healing items are obscenely expensive compared to past installments (500 for a 50% drop) and healing spells are nowhere to be found within Rebirth's new Force system, so taking advantage of the mutli-linear battle plane is key. All of this is a welcomed change from me. Really makes you take notice of what you're doing in battle, since healing might not be the most affordable option for those who enjoy hacking-and-slashing their way through the Tales series, relying on spellcasters and healing drops to keep their characters healthy.
One small detail about the battle system that I was quite happy to see was the list of reasons for earning grade after a battle's completion. In past games, I'd often wondered what I did to deserve grade, or why it was lost, for that matter. Having an explanation after each fight is nice; it's good to know what I'm doing right. It does not inform you why you lose grade, though. Thankfully, there are no deductions, negative grade, in Tales of Rebirth.
As one would expect from a Tales game, the voice-acting is beautiful. Emotions are conveyed almost flawlessly. Not to mention that Tytree's voice actor has a wonderfully hilarious voice, just as Mao's actor has a really fun and cute one. Everything in this department is perfect.
I'm not overly fond of the music this time around. Of course, Motoi Sakuraba never was a composer I thought all too much of, but, as with most of the Tales soundtracks, this one isn't without it's gems. Most notably, the overworld theme. Easily my favorite of those I've heard.
All things considered, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite RPGs of all time. Well worth the price - highly recommended to fans of the series and newcomers alike.
Tales of Rebirth lowering the bar As with all tales of games I come to except exellence. This game had stunning 2d and a score(that means sound track to those of you that dont know) to match. Everything was going great untill I got in a battle. See the new system has this werid 3 row system that was really trying to be innovated but instead maybe battles seem like a comfortable fest of just switching around and trying to get back attacks. Thats my only real complant about it. I guess after playing TOS to have a game that wasnt better than the previous was dissopointing. I'm just glad they stuck with 2d however. TOS seems like it might be the push of the series to start sticking with 3d after TOL. Lets hope not. Anyways at the price there selling this at you'd be a fool not to buy it.
Tales of Excellence Just plain and simple, I love the "Tales" series. I'm a HUGE fan of 2D and if it's one thing i love more than 2D games, it's sweet looking 2D RPGs. There just arent enough of them around. The Tales series has always been true to the old school 2D RPG we know and love with sharp visuals and an innovative battle system that never makes for the same battle twice. This game has so much depth. Between character Force upgrades and Awakening upgrades for your armor using points that you earn in battle, the fun never stops. I oten find myself fighting just for the pleasure of enjoying the battle system, which plays more like a fighting game than an RPG. The system makes for one of the most customizable RPG experiences to date. You can literally tailor your characters skils and AI to your playing style. I honestly dont think any two people would play this game the same way. If you are a fan of the Tales series, then this game is defiantely for you. if your Japanese is up to par. Even if you arent, this is a wonderful and lush 2D RPG gaming experience. It's , seeing as 2D seems to be going the way of the Do-do bird, I hope Namco keeps bringing us more of the Tales goodness we've all come to know and love. Thank you Play-Asia for giving me the oppertunity to play such an incredible game.

Excellent Tales-installment. I love this game. The soundtrack is rather unusual for the Tales series, but it fits the atmosphere very well and is without a doubt a masterpiece - like the rest of the game. Great characters, wounderful voice-acting, beautiful graphics and motivating gameplay. If you don't buy this, you'll miss definetely something. So go and get it.
