A beautiful remake of the original GBA Chain of Memories The original Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA has finally been remade with beautiful 3D graphics and voice acting.
The battle system is unique as it heavily relies on the use of "cards" to execute actions in battle. It is also very enjoyable and does not take long to learn.
If you are a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series, Re:Chain of Memories is a must-have.

A remake worthy of the original game Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is the game that bridges the gap between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. Originally a 2D Game Boy Advance game, it's now been remade for the PS2 and features several improvements: voice-acting and cutscenes, 3D graphics, some new cards... plus all the good things about the original are still there. On the other hand, the battle system is still a bit easy to break if you know what you're doing, and revisiting the same worlds yet again doesn't feel as exciting anymore, but it's definitely a great appetizer until the release of Birth by Sleep.

Great remake! If you found the GBA version annoying and frustrating than no more. This remake make's it easier to use and much more fun.
Some bosses were annoying and frustrating in the GBA version but on the PS2 it seems much much better.
Highly Recommended!

Must-Have Game Even if you have played the Gameboy Advance version, this is still a mush have for any Kingdom Hearts fan or even for people just looking for a nice little RPG game to play! With cyrstal clear graphics and gteat in-game music, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories is an awesome game with tons of added extras compared to te Gameboy Advance version!

A really good remake This game is "must-buy" if you are a KH fan and haven´t played the original GBA version. The story is a prologue to KHII and it´s necessary play this game before KHII to understand what happened to Sora, Riku and the others after KHI. The battle-system is different from the main series, but it´s also good.

Great Remake!! I've played the GBA title and this PS2 remake is really marvelous, nice graphics, sound, music... like Kingdom Hearts 1, a game that you must buy if you enjoyed KH1 and KH2.

Trying Not To Click Buy!!! This just looks like such a good game!!! it's so hard to resist!!! the graphics are amazing and the card system gives a change to the series. Of course, there are going to be slots in the next two... but that just adds further colour to the great Kingdom Hearts series. Bravo.

A nice remake A very nice remake of the budget GBA version. Has good gameplay, story and graphics. Best of all Riku is playable! Instead of just Sora, Sora, Sora, boring old Sora. Riku is playable. A very nice little add. Good job square!

No title I'm glad they remade this for the PS2 because it has become quite hard to get the gba version! I haven't played much of it, but I'm glad it provides the link between the first and second games; my only complaint with it is that they didn't change the battle/card system, which is pretty hard to manipulate and not as exciting as the other two (three, if you count 358/2 days) KH games. Then again, the card system does make this game unique.

Nice Game I am glad that Square Enix actually localized it for the English Speaking community. This game is good but not that great as compared to the Main Kingdom Hearts series, the card system is just not that great in my opinion...
But the storyline is the one that matter most, it makes people like me who skip the GBA version of KH: CoM have more understanding of what happen in between Kingdom Heart & Kingdom Hearts 2.
Definitely a must have for all the Kingdom Hearts Fan out there.

Classic Game Just ordered it and I myself have yet to play on it, but I watch in envy on YouTube all the walkthrough videos of other people playing it and it looks so amazing, I love the Kingdom Hearts series, and my fav so far is Kingdom Hearts 2, but if the GBA version is great, as it is, then I am pretty sure the remastered remake on the PS2 is even better.

Good Game This really is a great game don't get me wrong. All the boss battles against the organization it's. The only thing that bothers me is you have to use cards. The only thing I like about the cards are sleights but to me cards are just to complicated. All in all this is a great game except this is nothing compared to Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix+ which i beat to and it is simply amazing especially the data battles against the organization but all in all this really is a good game
