• Since you are a student, you have to carry out field trips, group works and write reports on your progress. The higher grades you get, the more free time you have for conducting character quests and doing student jobs.
• The better the items and weapons you created, the better equipped you are during fights. The developers recycled the popular elements from the old system and inserted new elements into it. Defend your falling team members through a support shield system and attack enemies together with a unite system.

Years have passed since the students of Mana Khemia: Gakuen no Renkinjutshi tachi have graduated. Very few of the new generation of students are talented as alchemists, and the school is soon losing its status and prosperity. Aside from the lack of talented students and teachers, there are fewer and fewer mana around, so the school town that depended on the powers of manas to float in the air is crumbling along with the grades of the school.

To save the attendance rates, the school is opening other courses like economics and martial arts. Although the alchemists are unhappy with this arrangement, the school is returning to its past glories. Under this new scheme, a boy Roze, who has a traumatic experience with manas enters the school under the demands of his employer's daughter. As opposed to Roze, Yurika is striving to become an Alchemist to make her mana egg hatch. Will Roze's meeting with Yurika and other comrades in the work group change his view about manas and alchemy?
