The world in the game consists of 3 different realms, advanced both mechanically and magically "Underground World"; the "Aboveground World" full of knights and mages; "Sky World" where gods and devils coexist. The main character who resides in the underground world, Kuon, is an adventure-loving pupil in a military school.

As successor to the "Shinten Makai" series and with an even more enhanced game system, combined with the new world, what kind of sparks will fly? What ending will result? These are all up to you the player to explore by yourself!

Compared to previous works of the series, Generation of Chaos V contains more details. The map has been changed into 3D style, from which new strategic elements arise. Further, events on the map have been enriched including "volcano eruptions", sudden appearance of "giant beasts" and more.

Mixed troop types can be used during combat, such as "warrior and musketeer", "knight and mage", "soldier and hunter" and many more Depending on the combination, different attacks can be performed together. Up to 30 vs. 30 battles are supported at a time.
