One of the best game I've ever played
If you love the Gundam series, then buy this game. NOW. Stop thinking about it. Yes, it is well worth the price, so stop contemplating that also. I was stressing over the same things before I bought it so I know what it's like. :P
I am about 200 hours into the game and I'm barely 45% done. There is also a wikia to help with the language barrier which I can vouch for as being enough to understand the important aspects of the game, and I'm actively contributing along with others, so it's getting better every day. :)

Better then expected
This is actually the first G Generation game i have played. I have always been a Super Robot Wars fan, I dont know exactly what makes me feel i need to play this game. But geez i was extremely surprised how good this game is in all aspects, the only complaint i have for this game is the BGM could be better, they should just use gundam anime op or ed theme like SRW franchise :)

This game builds upon and refines the system of its predecessor; 'G Generation Spirits' making the experience even more enjoyable. By way of example, they have removed the 'Haro Points' ranking system so you no longer need to go through the frustrating process of stacking up long strings of attacks just to get a Platinum ranking in order to scout the top-tier characters. All characters can now be acquired by capital. Furthermore, each character also has his/her own unique abilities which can be upgraded as their level increases.

The new 'Wars Break' system also adds an exciting and unpredictable element to the game. If you satisfy certain conditions during the stage, it will trigger a new event such as enemy reinforcements related to the storyline or unrelated, creating a bit of a cross-over type scenario.

Most of all, the amount of playable units in this game is mind-boggling. It features units and war ships from the first gundam all the way to Gundam 00. To date, his is truly the ultimate game for any Gundam fan.
