2K10 adds icing to it's already sweet cake!
If you played 2K9 then you know what to expect here as 2K10 is more of a polished version than a new experience but it is still totally worth buying and playing!

The game is focused on realism and simulation and has improved the AI massively, to make it the best on the market in terms of bball games.

If anyone remember the old Inside Drive games, they'll love 2K10. It plays like a next-gen Inside Drive.

The biggest improvement and also now the best in the business is the amazing commentary and presentation. Kevin Harlan and Clark Kellog do play by play like never before, dynamically cutting in and out of chatter and live plays! The camera cuts to players reactions on the bench, detail such as correct Assistant Coaches on the sideline, signature pre-game warmups for players and teams and signature celebration animations make this the most realistic and brilliantly presented game out there.

I still think both Live and 2K are worth owning this year, but if you can only choose one, you'll choose 2K10 if you prefer a slower more realistic experience.

Graphics are more realistic than ever.
Gameplay is more fun and fast but still a challenging sim.
New features like NBA Today do not disappoint.
A few minor bugs that for sure will be addressed by future firmware updates.

Great simulation
great simulation basketball game, still the best available NBA game on the market. Some minor bugs with gameplay (especially online) BUT those have seemed to be patched last night on PSN. The game looks absolutely beautiful....a MUST buy for basketball fans

A Great Basketball Game

This basketball game offers a fun experience for all forms of gamers. If you want to have a more simulation style of player, you can tweak the settings to have exactly that. Or if you want to have a more forgiving game experience, more arcade-ish (but by no means too unrealistic), then you can have that too, easily.

This games brings something for everyone and the amount of customization is great!! If you love video games and love basketball, there really is no other option than to get this game!

NBA 2K series has been a staple in basketball video games for the last 5 years. While its main competitor, NBA Live, has made strides in bettering itself; 2K still remains the champ.

NBA 2K10 plays like an NBA game, complete with runs and cold streaks. Almost no matter how poor your favorite NBA franchise might be, they have a shot at winning; just like real life.

The franchise mode is any solo sport player’s dream. Complete with player moods and full contract negotiations. As a GM it is up to you to find the missing piece to your playoff team, or when the window is closed and time to blow up the team. It is quite robust.

If you are an NBA fan you need to do yourself a favor and pick up this deep and rewarding series.
