This game is LAME!
I got bored of this game in a week(one year ago). I unlocked everything in two days. There is alot of flaws in this game mostly concering the lack of characters and stages and the way you unlock things is dumb using a slot machine which means you have to do arcade alot. The gameplay is boreing after a few times. So if your going to buy this game somewhere else please save your money.

The game needs improvement on everything such as the stages ,chars,options........they could at least make a new one with more series chars,stages, better options but that'll never happen.......

not a good game
this game is not for anime fans even if you like the show. the lack of characters and stages. they could of did better at least add more stages and people. I played it for a month thats the same month i got it. the way u unlock characters is very dumb.

i brought this game along with GNT 4 but this starts off fun but it gets boring real fast and the character unlocking system is annoying any anime fan MUST avoid this if you want a really great cross game get Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS if you own one

the game has almost no characters all the combos are bad. I mean its all right at first but it gets so boring youll wanna watch barnie all day after plaing it for an hour

Ive played this game.
In my opinion this game could do without one piece (i hate one peice) and its a lot like super smash bros.I whould not pay 65$ for it, unless your a hadrcore fan.
On the other hand if they replaced one peice with Y.Y.H (DBZ, Naruto, Yuyu Hakusho) then I whould luv this game!

Meh
This game starts off pretty fun since it's something a little different but I found myself getting VERY bored after just an hour of game play. The process of unlocking new characters is extremely annoying and boring and discourages you from even trying to unlock them. As for actual game play, the characters move a little awkwardly and there really isn't any kind of combo system.

Over all, 3 stars though that may even be giving it too much. Not worth $65 :\

great surprise
after slight difficulty with the short single player and annoying character unloking system, i played multiplayer and was austounded by how excellent it controlled in this mode and how fun it was to beat on your friends as some of my favorite anime characters.

Yes the game is cool and I like it but I don't think there is a lot of characters in this game I just wish there was lots of more characters but other than that the game is really cool.

At first I thought the game is awesome. But after a little time you acknowledge that it is only a worse copy of SSBM. Less Charas, less Modes and less fun.
You cannot simply play without items or time limit (you need damn tickets)
Everyone who had SSBM should not buy this game. Its not worse the money. I love Naruto a lot and like DB too but the Game is not as good as it seems

could do without one piece
This is one of the funnest games out. In my opinion this game is way better than super smash bros, & way more fun than narutimate hero. but i hate one piece and I don't even understand how Luffy could even touch Goku or Naruto! I wish the game was battle stadium DNY (DBZ, Naruto, Yuyu Hakusho)

They did great making this game, and is a lot of fun but they didn't put enough characters or animes in. I think they should replace the One Piece or the Dragonball Z ones to Bleach but that's just me. Other than that, it was lotsa fun except for the winning characters and stages, the stupid slot machine is luck, very hard. Took forever for me to get Gaara.

I first played this game when i went to Japan and lost all hope of getting it as it was out of stock in most stores. However, having recently got it from this website, i must say that it is as great as i remembered it.
If you like smash bros. (Or Jump Superstars/Ultimate Stars) or any of the Animes the game is based on, grab this game asap.
You wont be dissapointed.
Infact, if you have a Gamecube and 4 controllers and the means to play Japanese games its pretty much a must have.

I just bought this game and I love it. The first time I played was at an anime convention called Animagic. I was killing everybody. I am awesome as Sasuke. If you like any of the Super Smash Bros game, this is just about the same...but with Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Naruto.

I definately love this game!! Everyone's special seem to have their own strength and weakness so noone feels too overpowered. I love all the characters and i love 4 player battles!

I'm really diggin' it.
For fans of any of these 3 anime, or even a remote interest in them, this game is a blast. I admit, it doesn't have the largest selection of characters (20) but it is a really fun, if shameless Super Smash Bros. clone.

Multiplayer is fantastic, and the game is a whole lotta fun, even with limitations on character selection and/or special attacks. Don't let that deter you from this fun game, however.

I have to say I was dissapointed when I got this game, I was expecting a SSBM feel but the jumping just doesnt feel right. and the DBZ chars are difficult to control and the matches can go on for a very long time with little progress in a 4 fighter match.

I got this game a while back, but omg this is such a nice game~ although the only anime i really like is naruto, after playing the acutal game, its really fun using all of the character and its fun to do multi player :3

I really haven't played it yet but i watched people play it at an anime convention. It looked cool and fun but it looked like it would get boring kinda fast. Its got all the awsome characters. Cool creative levels. And good graphics for a Side-Scrolling Fighter. And like "shadabadanime" said it lacks special attacks. I just wish i vould haved played it so i would know if its good or bad.

This game is great..i just got it today and me and my friends had alot of fun...the game does play like ssbm but it has its on features that make it different as well...deff. worth buying

Awesome Game!!
This is definetly the best multi-man fighting game I've played. It does play like SSBM but with better characters. Too bad it doesn't have OTK Naruto or Sasuke CS2. Oh well, everyone else is still just as good.

Best fighting game so far
Its simple, its fun, it got all the cool characters. a sweet mix of ssbm and Naruto gnt! the only bad thing about this game is the lack of charakters but they got all the cool ones so there is rly no need to complain....

I ordered this game a few days ago, and it will be here in the next few days. I played it at a friends house and dudes, it's tight! Even if you only like 1 of the animes, its fun to try all of the characters.It does take a while to unlock evrything, but after that, it's AWESOME! Great buy, thanks play-asia!

so far all of the videos and pics i seen on this game was serious.the specials is okay.only bad thing is the characters.its only 18 of not including some bosses but thats ok since it is 3 anime shows on it.i look 4ward 2 buying it

Well, i haven't exactly played it yet. i'm just about to order it, but it seems like it's a good game. but i think it will be quite similar to ssbm indefinately. but one person said it kinda sucks, but i'll still get it anyways.

Cool characters, great mutliplayer, lacks special attacks and RGB mode.
There are around 3~4 playable characters from each series. The fighting action is interesting, especially in mutliplayer as urinal_cake_person said.

My cousins played the game with me, the one who is around 11 enjoyed but got tired and bored especially in the story mode, however the one under 6 did not want to leave my room.

The game action is too easy in the easy mode and several players mode, and has nothing special other than having 3 series characters. Not to mention, the story mode ending movie does not change as much as you play, the game lacks special attacks and does not include an RGB mode comparing to Bandai's/Cyber Connect's Naruto Narutimate HERO 3 and Bandai's One Piece Grand Battle series.
The game would have been 5 stars if It a mix of or was based on the system/game engine of Naruto Narutimate Hero 3, One Piece Grand Battle series and Dragon Ball Z Budokai series.

Alright, I know a lot people have a lot of complaints about this game, but I'm here to help clear these things up. First: It is almost exactly like SSB except without the aerial freedom that SSB allows, the lands are in fact a little more interactive in this game also, such as "Forest of Death" which is a great land to fight in due to the constant snake attack! Second: The slots are NOT that difficult, all you have to do is simply locate a FAQ that has mission translations and play through the game on VERY HARD since there is a mission in every fight. Complete each mission and you should have over 100 coins when you beat the game. Now you're off to the slots. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to line up three "Jump Heads" but IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY PATIENT AND HAVE ENOUGH COINS then eventually the slots will black out and you are almost guaranteed three "Jump Heads" and then three "Character Heads" or "Land Heads". It only took me 3 days of playing the game to unlock ALL hidden features, so the slot machine is not that hard if you simply wait until the game has the slots black out for you. Third: People complain about the Versus mode AI difficulty, obviously they must not know that you can change the difficulty of the CPU AI before you select who you wish to challenge. Simply press "Y" before you pick an oppent and then select the difficulty from "Easy" to "Very Hard". I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of any of the three shows or anyone who enjoys a good party game.

Anonymous im a fan of all 3 and will add this game to my collection very soon. it has a 3d look which I like plus characters from 3 hot anime. ill give my opinion when i buy the game. for now i just hope it has better gameplay than Anonymous says it does.

It's Good
This game is good, end of. Anyone who says this is Smash Bros obviously's never played Smash Bros properly, or is just an idiot.
This game is great, the only thing it shares in common with SSB is that it's a 4P platform fighter & there are Y moves like the B moves on SSB & there's 'Block Dodging'...That's it; sure it's not as good as Smash Bros., but we;ve all played that about a Bzillion times, so playing this is good because it feels different, but still familiar.
The worst thing about the game is the Slot Machine unlocking & when you turn all hyper's pretty unfair & should only last a few seconds, rather than until you loose the red whatsits.

A good multiplayer game
This is a game made for multiplayer. Single player is boring and easy as hell. The multiplayer is really fun though. Now, as a fan of One Piece and DBZ, my judgement is already slanted. But, I have played this game with people not into anime at all. For the multiplayer fun factor (we usually put it on no time limit all the time), they even have imported the game after playing it. These are some of my friends who aren't even into the series.

I love the struggle system for health. It can make battles last long as hell and get the player on the edge of their seat. With the Burst mode, if your enemy is in that mode, just do your best to pull off a reverse attack to undo it. My friends and I find ourselves playing the game a lot.

this game is such a brilliant game, you will not be disappointed! plus multiplayer mode is so good it rivals the greatness of Super Smash Bros. however there is one bad point about this game. that is the list of character list. especially the naruto side. but this does leave it open for a sequel which loads more new stuff and characters!!!
BUY THIS GAME! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

instead of bringing fresh, new ideas to the table, they unfortunately take steps backward to 1999.

the only thing carrying this game are the characters in it.

though the controls are well mapped, the gameplay is uninspired, and OBVIOUSLY taking from super smash bros.

the game is smash bros. but without the depth.

only if you're a HARDCORE fan, you might want to check it out.

though you'd still feel a hint of guilt after you realize what you paid for.

this definitely isn't worth 60-65 dollars, not by a long shot.

i say stick with one piece grand battle rush, dbz budokai 3, sdbz, NH3, and NGNT!4 to get your dosages of luffy, gokou, and naruto.

this game is fun plain and simple! Its like smash Bros. but with people uou actualy want to play as! The only thing i see wrong with this game (on the playstation) is that it dose not have online fighting modes.besides that it is a wonderful game to play.

since this game included 3 very popular manga and all of them have a lot of characters in it but in the game there's only 20 character. the fighting system is knida like in naruto. so this is kind of a dissapointment as a fighting game. but if u like these 3 manga/anime then u should get this game just to collect it

This is an excellent fighting game. There are some crazy, I mean crazy, action that take place in this game. What makes it even better is that the characters we use are the anime characters we all love.

GREATEST GAME EVER!
Im a HUGE One Piece fan and I for one think this game is excellent! The action is fast paced and frantic. A bit of an unusual controll scheme, but otherwise its great. Theres nothing better than beating up all the dorky Narutards with the Strawhats! ^_^ If you love smash bros. and Shonen jump this game is for you!

3 of shoens strongest anime in one game makes SSBM look pathetic feels a little funny at first but when you get the hang of it tis good game. Must have for any fan of any of the 3 series.

Worth your moneys
When I started playing this game I was a little bit disappointed. I played 2 humans vs 2 comps in free for all. It was somewhat fun and my friend and I were mainly trying to figure out everything. After a while another friend arrived. After he learned to play the game we started playing 1vs1. That's when I realized how much fun this game is. Battles are really intense and the tables turn quite frequently which makes the game quite amusing. Playing against other 3 human players is even more fun. Though, it lacks the single player fun that SBM has. I don't mean it's boring, it's just kind of tedious.

The characters are nice (kinda hard to control, though), the moves are well made, and you feel like the One Piece guy you're using is actually from One Piece and the guy from Naruto is actually a guy from Naruto; in place of some kind of aberration where all characters feel out of place.
