great naruto game
the beginning of a great saga, a classic for the nintendo cube. Fantastic!

Best Nintendo Fighter
Possibly the best in the series-When you first play this you may think its simple BUT crank the difficulty right up and try to survive. Features some of the most important characters from the series, gorgeous graphics and sound tracks- Belive it-- they dont get better.
The fighting system needs to be giving a chance to be understood.
Ive played this game for about 8 years and still do.

Its okay for starters
This game is really fun! it lets you get the hang of the naruto world from the start!~~
although its the first season, it has lots of features and characters! I unlocked all the characters! it was pretty easy since I played it ..ALOT!
But..its a bummer that not all the naruto Girls are in the game: Tenten, Temari, and some akatsuki members... BUt over-all: Its very Funn! BELIEVE IT!

This game is not as promising as the other naruto games, but it is good for starters and it is definitely a game to own if you have a Gamecube. Though there are only 8 characters, it still follows the original storyline and once you get the hang of it, you will enjoy the other Naruto games!!!!!

This is a great game but it only covers the first season up to when he fights zabuza it not difficult at all but very good for naruto fans.

I love Naruto in general and this game is great. There are only 8 characters playable but the game is still fun! I suggest everybody to buy all "Gekitou Ninja Taisen" games!

AWESOME
I got this a while ago. I am a huge fan of the show.
I wish there were more characters but because there aren't many it doesn't take long to unlock them. My favorite characters are Sasuke + Sharingon Kakashi + Sakura

Beautiful
At time of typing this, I've only seen the first season of Naruto, which this game covers. What a treat this game is to play, the graphics are superb, and the moves are pretty simple to pull off. Great fun.

This game is very disappointing and there are barely any characters. The later games are SO much better. I recommend you get Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 4
That is the best game out there for gamecube, naruto fan or not. It may be expensive, but trust me, it is so worth the money.

Eh...pretty bad
Barely any characters, repetitive, and specials take too long to do. The only thing good to me is the graphics, the later ones are a lot better, in japanese, but the second one in english is pretty good.

Why ruin?...
This game was ok once i started playing, there only about 5 characters (Haku, Zabuza, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Sharingan Kakashi from what i remember) the specials weren't that good and a big disappointment, don't waste your time getting this..go for the later Clash of Ninjas or the PS2 ones.

Yes when I mean by edited they fixed some stuff... for example the Japanese version Kakashi's Chidori makes a electric sound while it's suppose to make a sound that sounds more like birds chirping and thats what the US version did for Kakashi... YAY. Also all the voices are done in English and everyone you've grown to love or hate (voices I mean) from the Saturday Cartoons from Toonami are all here. Also some combos have been changed here too... not the simplist ones the more complicated ones... well you'll just have to play to find out. It's still simply fun to play it again and it feels like a totally new game even though it's about 4years old the new voices made me feel like I was playing a totally new game... well anyways it's still nicely done if you like the American Dubbing. ENJOY!!

Fun but Bad
Fun but not the best. It's a fun game but, it has no character selection at all
I mean like 9 characters and Strory mode lasts for like 2 minutes but I;m givin it 5 stars cus it was really fun except for those defaults.

It Was Good But Bad At The Same Time
Naruto Clash Of Ninja Dissapointed Me Alot Because I Thought That There Would Be More Unlockable Characters Like Super Smash Bros Melee. The Only Unlockables Were Rock Lee Kyubi Naruto And Sharingan Kakashi.I Thought The Game Would Be More Like Naruto Clash Of Ninja 2 With More Charcters

Fun but WAY too Short
To begin with there are only a small handful of characters, Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Haku, Zabuza, Sakura, and you can unlock Lee, Sharingan Kakashi and Kyubi Naruto. The fighting itself is extremely fun but the story mode is really short., it is over before it feels like it has started. If you already own Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 there is no need for this one.

Great Game
I have the american version and it was incredible so i recently order Naruto Gekitou ninja taisen 3!!!! i cant wait untill it reach home!!!

you might like naruto, i mean love the series so you would want to get the game........THIS GAME WILL DISSEPOINT(goddamn i cant spell) YOU. With 7 characters ( kakashi, naruto, sakera, zabuza, haku, sasuke, Iruka) and 3 unlockables (rock-lee, kakashi-sharingan, naruto-demon fox form). With 8 stages. NO BLOCKING SYSTEM, you just stand still and your character defends. The most time you'll like this game is about 2 hours. its just 2 simple, MY advice for you is NOT to get this game, but if you really want a naruto game you should get Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 imported now thats something

This game I think is worth the money.It has good graphics,good controls,and good characters.What puts me down though is that you have to select what form of the character you want.And the lack of them other then that it is great.

This game is a must own.
I normally don't like buying import games but man, it made getting the Action Replay (the freeloader embeded saves money) worth every penny. My friend played it without even watching a lot of the anime but he really loves the gameplay. I'm waiting on GTN 2 and eventually getting the others. Do yourselves a favor: if you have a GCN, throw in a freeloader, buy this game and you will see what everyone on this site is talking about! It keeps my Gamecube alive at least.

Simple but fun!
I love this game! It's very easy to catch on even if you don't know japanese. The controls are VERY smooth. I can't stop playing it! Do yourself a favor and BUY THIS GAME! Even if you've never heard of Naruto, if you like fighting games you'll love this one.

i have played Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 and i luv it!!! i haven't seen the anime, or the comics... but the game is one great fighter..... i wuld buy it if it weren't do expensive with the freeloader. i'm saving cash just to get it

Cel-Shaded Fighter Done Right!
Of all the cel-shaded anime 3D fighters that flood the market these days, most are sub-par efforts that really lack in the gameplay factor. I won't mention any names, but the only redeeming quality of some of them is actually seeing your favorite anime characters in action. Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen pulls away from the norm by adding great gameply elements, fast paced action, and a variety of combinations to keep gameplay going. The next two games in the series add to the fun of the first, but this is a great start if you haven't played any of them to date. Snag this game up before it becomes increasingly hard to find. You'll be glad you did.

I've played with a friend and it was totally GREAT, however i've nerver read a manga or watch an anime of Naruto, but it was so FUN, when i'll have the money i'll buy it !

If you love Smash Brothers than you gonna love this game I just bought Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2 and is fun, I love the series and the magna comics. Its addicting you can't put the controls down. The only thing that is a problem, is can't read Japanness, but is great . I can't wait for Naruto Narutimett Hero.

I love the Anime. I´ve watched every Episode and i´m a huge Fan of Naruto. So, i must have the Game. The Parcel Service brought me the Game a few Minutes ago. I´ve played it and i couldn´t stop to play this Game. It´s just awesome! Now i´ve to get Money to buy Naruto 2. :-D

This Game is so sweet. You can only be 8 characters however and the game is very short but multiplayer battles are a lot of fun and the ninjutsu attacks are really cool.

Naruto Captures the Anime Perfectly
Naruto does everything right except for it's limited cast of characters to play as, despite the lack of characters you’ll get many hours of fun out of this game. With FreeLoader some text may appear scrambled but even then most menu’s are self-explanatory or they’re not vital to gameplay. The Japanese that is in the game is very simple though, and most people will pick it up fast. The game overall does a great job of capturing the ideals of the series, and will make a great for import for anyone who loves the series.

Flipping Awesome
As soon as I downloaded a preview of this game I knew it would be the best I would ever play, so I searched for a place to buy it with no luck. A few weeks later me and my friends went to an Anime Convention. I looked around a bit, but found myself wandering into the game room. I looked to my left...Street fighter...to my right...NARUTO! I ran to the game pushing my friends out of my way to get to the controller. I was the first person to play that game that day, and trust me, it was as i expected, THE BEST GAME i ever played. As soon as I got home I tried finding a place to order it and found this site, i ordered it yesterday, I cant wait till i get it.

the way the combo engine works is great!! Nice cell shaded graphics.cool music. The characters on the game are exactly the same as in the anime. all ic an say is this games really good.

Great Fighting Game
Although you havent seen the anime, you will still love this game. Great fighting system but too few characters, although there are enough of them because they are so different.

Great game, only too short
I love the game, fighting system but this game is simply too short and there aren't enough extras.
It plays great, fast, fun, great. The length is the only thing that keeps this from a 5 in my book.

Evolution in Gaming
This is a definite must have/play. This game is depicts the characters well from the anime, and has authentic anime moves incorporated into the game! It's an interesting game because you might think that there is only one way to win against your opponent with a certain move, but there are always a form of counter attack. It just keeps you guessing as to what the next move might be. Gameplay is absolutely enhanced if u watch the anime as well :)
