Shenmue II is the second episode of this episodic adventure, picking up right after the first installment left off. Ryo Hazuki finally makes it to Hong Kong and there his quest to uncover the truth of his father's murder can continue. He'll also meet in person the woman who haunted his dreams in the first episode. The immersive game world is more detailed and there's a greater emphasis on action this time around. Explore Aberdeen, Kowloon, Wan Chai and Guilin, and meet more characters!

A Perfect follow up to a Perfect Game
Shenmue 2 picks up where Shenmue left off. However this time there is so much more to see and do. More classic SEGA games,arm wrestling,dice games, gambling and as ryo would say, "why not try a game of lucky hit". Also you really get that feeling of a small-town boy lost in the big city, a radical departure from the cloistered surroundings of Ryo's first adventure. All in all it is a game that should be experienced and if you missed chapter 1 don't worry, there is a catch up movie included so you know what happened previously.

Great Game
I bought this game when it first came out. The game is just amazing. The graphics are good. The gameplay is fun fun. The Storyline is deep. I just love it. The Limited edition comes with 2 bonus discs a virtua fighter "movie disc" which inculdes footage of the various viruta fighter games (very interesting). And the other is a Virtua Fighter Web Browser (I havent used myself though ^-^;) All in all this is a great game only made better by extra discs. Buy it Today!!! ^_^v

The most electrifying story ever told
I can only agree to the other reviewers. This is the best game ever created.
This should not be looked upon as a game. It's an unbelievabely beautiful work of art. Shows how beautiful, touching and electrifying video games can get.
An improved fighting system, more fast-paced story-telling and a much bigger environment make it even better than the first one.
