Great alternative! If you are trying to get Symphony of the Night for a low price, buy this instead of looking for a used version of it on e-bay! IT'S FREAKIN FACTORY SEALED!

A PSone masterpiece from Konami This is by far, one of the greatest, if not the best, Akumajo Dracula game (Castlevania) ever to hit a console. This version is almost exactly like the old versions, but with an added analog-stick controls, and some of the obvious glitches are removed. (Glitchers, fret not, it's still glitch-friendly) You play as Alucard, son of Lord Dracula, out to end his father's evil ambitions. Gameplay, music, graphics and replayability are all top-quality.

Awesome game! Get this! I was fortunate to bump into this game this last week. I came to the conclusion that this is a treasure among a vast sea of video games. This is where Castlevania changed it's format. In short, it's Metroid - with swords! The music is perfect, ranging from classical to rock to techno. Alucard is a bad-ass sword-wielding hero. Graphics are very nice for the old PSX, although I enjoy 2D graphics anyway. This is a real video gaming experience to cherish.
Unfortunately I couldn't find this game earlier on Play-Asia, so I resorted to other methods of purchasing this game and it cost way too much. I found out that this title is being sold here today and for an extremely decent price. This is a true classic. Get it - before it's too late!

The cuspide of castlevania series Dracula X nocturne in the moonlight the game knows as castlevania shymphony of the night in europe and USA. the 2d grafics are awesome and the playability is excellent. With the cool character of alucard you enter in the legendary and epic saga of castlevania.

This is the FF7 of the Castlevania series Amazing 2d action, rpg elements, metroid style castle layout, Alucard kicked major butt ! Lots of boss fights, tons and tons of weapons, many with their own special moves, awsome music. It may have been a little easy, but play with just your bare hands ! try to get every item and get the max % ( or go hardcore like morgoth and get over 300% legit ! ), doesnt matter what you do ! This game will keep you playing and playing and loving and loving this godlike game !
