Just received order-

I just got the GBA Ver. of Mother 1&2 and it's awesome. If you're worried about the fact that this is the Japanese Ver. Don't fret too much. Even a basic knowledge of Japanese should be enough to get you through the game (Although it's completely Hiragana which can be annoying to those who can read Kanji). And if you've ... Mother 1+2 Value Selection
Overall this is a good game,they didn't really change anything except bugs/glitches (nothing like what they did to FF 3,same graphics and all that.)The language barrier isn't bad,no kanji.I'd suggest printing of info list's for PSI and item's (around 100 each.)So worth the 40 bucks I paid for it.

Greatest series of games, the only way it could be better was if the translated everything and stuck it in a package for $50. still very good even if you don't know japanese, but chances are if you haven't heard of this game, you won't be here buying it

Two excellent games in one package
Mother 1+2 combines both Mother and Mother 2 which are both popular games in Japan. Both games were released years ago but they still hold fun for anyone looking for a good game.

Like your typical RPG, you walk around the over world and fight the occasional enemy. These two games, however, mix up the formula by adding humorous dialog, unique weapons, and strange characters.

These two games were masterpieces when they first came out, and they are masterpieces still to this day.

Great for RPG Fans...
The Mother series is one of the best rpg series ever & this port is no exception. It may be in all Japanese but that doesn't deserve to lose a star. Again: A MUST HAVE FOR ALL RPG FANS!
