In Summon Night: Craft Sword Monogatari 2 you play as an orphan boy Edge Colthearts, who is raised by an craftsman uncle. Your dream is to become a high craftsman. His partner is the daughter of the craftsman named Air Colthearts. One day Edge followed his friends to a ruin, and they accidentally broke the seal of a violent summon monster Cora. In protect his family and friends, Edge became the guardian of the summon monster, to watch over the dangerous beast, and he begins his journey to search for a way to repair the seal.
The game is divided into 3 parts: Field Part, Craft Part and Battle Part. In the Field Part you can talk to the other people to collection information and purchase materials for crafting weapon. In the Craft Part you can use the material you collected to craft weapons for the customers. In the Battle Part, you must battle with dangerous monsters, using the weapons you created, and you can use weapon skills, magic spells as well.
