Great Controller Adapter
It works as well as i need it to. The difference is about negligible. All you got to do is a simple calibration in your control panel.

I didn't enjoy playing Project 64 near as much as I do now that I have a pair of these. It finally feels just like the real thing. Makes a huuuuuge difference in games like GoldenEye.
Keep in mind that this ONLY works with Nintendo brand controllers and that, on Windows 7, you search "Set up USB Game Controllers" and calibrate them once you've plugged the controllers in. Takes seconds and you're good.

Cheap, easy to use and 100% reliable adapter.
So I recommend using this product.
After calibrate the controlleur, no problem and very nice with Project64 for example.

Not as easy as
I ran Project64 with the controller and was absolutely disappointed when my characters would sneak all around the map, as opposed to the running I was trying to get them to do.
However, there is a fix for this, and I figured I would share it with you all, considering it was the bane of my existence for about an hour.
You need to calibrate the controller. So on Windows 7, 64 bit version:
Start > Search: "set up usb game controllers" > select USB GamePad > Properties > Settings > Calibrate > Follow the Prompts > Finish > Open up Project64 > Options > Configure Controller Plugin > Change the deadzone to 0% > Make sure that you assign all of the buttons to the appropriate slots > click OK when you're done > nostalgia
All tutorial aside, this is exactly what you're hoping to order, and it works fine. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is contemplating ordering, but doesn't know the site. It was relatively cheap. Plus all of my computer illiterate dorm mates are absolutely baffled/jealous about how I keep playing Tony Hawk on my computer. =]
