I tested the converter with a Beatmania controller, and it works really well. The response time is really fast, and you can press all the buttons on the controller (including the scratch) at once. The wire is very short also, meaning no extra wire to get wrapped up in.

Excellent! This item is excellent! It is a fair price and works magnificent! No problems whatsoever and its simple plug and play, and if it happens not to work as soon as plugged in there is a handy manual included to help set things up! I will definitely be buying from here again! 5/5 Satisfied and Happy Customer!

Excellent product Worked the first time without any setup in Windows (XP and Vista). Has worked every time without fail. I use it with a standard PS2 controller for emulators, and for IIDX on PC (Lunatic Rave). Works flawlessly, highly recommend.

Super Joy Box 3 Pro Worthless, plugged it in and didn't even register as a device. After several attempts at rebooting and plugging and unplugging the device it worked about twice.

Excellent Converter. I use it with my beatmania Controller I ordered a djdao Fp7 Beatmania controller a while back and when i got it in the mail, i noticed it was a PS2 controller, and came with a PS2 to parallel port converter. and i dont have parallel ports on my computer. so i figured i'd plug the controller into my current PS2 to USB converter and the keys kept rapid firing, the 7 button and turntable were reconized an axis and it was a total mess.
on wednesday someone suggested the super joybox 3 pro to me and so i figured i'd give it a try, so i ordered it wednesday night around midnight with UPS shipping and it got here friday afternoon. it took a whole 36 hours, i was real impressed.
anyways, i go download the drivers from the website because the small disk wont work well in my slide-in dvd drive. i plugged in the controller and opened up game controllers and switched the controller type to what i needed and it changed all the axis to buttons. now i can play IIDX15 just fine with no delay at all. thanks for the excellent product and the 10/5 service. you guys deserve it!

Super Joy Box 3 Pro - Mayflash I'm very happy with this product as it works wonders on my pc, and lets me play games that allow joypad configuration. The Playstation Controller Joypad Control Panel Menu, which is used to properly adjust and calibrate the controller, is easy to understand and simple to use, however you don't really need to calibrate any buttons, as they work flawlessly on every game I've used my Dual Shock Analog Playstation Controller for. The Force Feedback is a little weak however, compared to the Force Feedback you experience when using the Playstation Controller on the Playstation console. But at least the Analog Dual Shock Controller works and the drivers support force feedback, which you can turn on and off in the control panel. Games play very smooth and I haven't experienced any problems thus far. I don't own a dance pad so I haven't tried that out to see if the controller works properly or not, and I don't even have any dance dance revolution games to test out either. Still, just make sure one thing, that if you're using your Analog Dual Shock Playstation Controller, and you want Force Feedback, and it doesn't work for any of the games you test it on, then your game might not or doesn't support Force Feedback. If you're thinking about using your Playstation Force Feedback controller for PC games, here's a list of PC games that support Force Feedback...
Thank you Play-Asia.com for your patience and great service, and thank you Mayflash for making the most excellent PSX Controller to PC USB adapter there is. By the way, if you need to download any drivers for your adapter, just go to the Mayflash downloads section here...

My Super Joy Box 3 Pro adapter came with a small CD that has all the drivers needed for the Super Joy Box 3 Pro, Super Dual Box Pro, and Super Joy Box 5 Pro adapters. I'm mentioning this because people who reviewed the Super Joy Box 3 Pro earlier said theirs came with a floppy disk and Windows XP and Vista computers no longer come with floppy disk drives. This is a plus in my book because Mayflash is a company that makes sure their technology is up to date and working for both the technology of yesterday and today, instead of selling something and caring less what problems people are experiencing. Mayflash, you're the best, and thank you Play-Asia.com for making this wonderful PC accessory affordable and not so over priced like all the other online webstores =). The Super Joy Box 3 Pro adapter supports the following PC Operating Systems...
Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista

Works fantastically with an HRAP2 I use this with my Hori Real Arcade Pro 2 SA and have no noticeable lag. Comes with drivers for WINDOWS VISTA regardless of what the product description says! I use it with MAME on TinyXP Rev 09 and it's the best PS2 USB adapter I own by far.

Finally an adapter that works perfect for Stepmania! I have had many headaches troubleshooting adapters off Ebay to only find out there is the dreaded joystick axis problem. I picked this adapter up after doing some serious research and feel like I hit the jackpot. It works perfect with Stepmania! If you're tired of throwing away your cash on hit or miss adapters try this one. By the way I'm running XP but it's suppose to work on Vista, 2000, ME, and 9X.
warheit12(1) on 08, Sep. 2008 08:18 (HKT)
This works, what else can you ask for? Tried this out and it worked perfectly for me. games like Megaman X5, Devil may cry 4 are working perfectly with this adapter. it is very fast as well, there is no delay. the drivers installed fine on XP.

Fine on PC (Not on PS3) Though it uses the USB interface, the Super Joy Box 3 Pro does NOT work correctly with the PS3, specifically with SplitFish's EdgeFX controller. (Only a couple of buttons work, no mouse, no analog.) On the PC, drivers don't seem to install correctly when checking Device Manager. There's also hanging and minor difficulties configuring with Vista's Game Controller properties. Eventually - with patience and configuration tweaks - controllers seem to work well enough. (Vista SP1 32-bit.)

Better than nothing I bought this thing and I received it yesterday (***** for the service, great!)
I could set it to play PES 2008. It worked good. I'm very satisfied.
The problem is I couldn't play gears of war.
Too bad.

Perfect! Works wonderfully with Stepmania and the driver installation in Vista was perfect. I had no lag and no problems setting up the buttons. The package comes with a floppy disk for the driver installation but if you have a floppy drive and you want to put it on a laptop, it's as easy as copying your setup file to a flash drive and going from there. I would highly recommend this product!

Superior to Radio Shack's Radio Shack's converter didn't register fast button presses (button mashing) on my Hori Real Arcade Pro 1 Version B (or 2), but this does. Although shoryukens and hadoukens were easier to perform in mame32k v06.4 with this converter than with the Radio Shack converter, it still wasn't flawless. In training mode on console, I would be able to get 10 shoryukens off in a row, but in mame, I couldn't duplicate that success (comparing Street Fighter II: World Warrior on Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 1 to Street Fighter II: World Warrior on mame).

Very Good! The driver disc I got didn't work, for some odd reason, but I went to their site and downloaded the driver, and it works great! There is no visible lag, and works great with Stepmania! Highly recommended, especially for the price! :)
MrOctopusFace on 03, Jan. 2007 18:16 (HKT)
Vista It kind of works with Vista. The supplied drivers will not work with Vista despite telling you they have installed successfully. If you don't install the drivers, you can use Vista's default drivers that let you use the basic functions. You can't use your pressure sensitive buttons or remap buttons for example.

Excellent Adapter This thing is excellent in Windows XP, and can be used for a number of PC titles, as well as virtually controller-enabled emulators. I am curious as to whether or not this adapter works with Windows Vista, since I don't know anyone who has tried this adapter with that new OS yet. Anyone have info on this?
ecchichuu(1) on 11, Oct. 2006 05:02 (HKT)
Works with HRAP1v2 I bought the SJB3 for my Hori Real Arcade Pro 1 v2 and it works great. No noticeable lag.
I also tested the adapter with the standard ps2 pad... also works great. I ended up putting away my trusty ol' Saitek P880 PC pad because with my ps2 pad and HRAP I won't need the PC pad anymore.
As for the controller's minor features (rumble, button pressure, rapid fire), I tried turning on rumble in Phantasy Star Universe but didn't feel anything. I think rumble works tho since it works in the controller's test menu. Doesn't matter to me either way. Rapid fire works fine. Button pressure sensitivity I had no games to test on.
The SBJ3 does what I want it to do and at the cheapest price I could find so I'm happy with it. Those looking for a cheap PS2 converter should pick this up.

Great response time Playing Alpha 3 and the response time is very nice. Got MAME with two of these babies for my laptop and I'm lovin it. Didn't install the drivers, no need unless you want to use the analog.

Plug and Play I'm using this with the Vampire Edition Saturn PS2 controller. It comes with drivers on floppy, but I didn't even have to bother, on both XP SP2, and on MacOSX.
I just plugged it into both machines and it worked immediately with my emulators.
Excellent
AEtherealDrake on 21, Mar. 2006 13:21 (HKT)
Even works on Macintosh. It's works plug-and-play under OS-X Tiger; excellent for running emulators. It doesn't seem to have any Windows specific firmware, so it should work with any USB-compatible Macintosh (some G3s and any G4 or G5).
smujmaiku(1) on 17, Mar. 2006 14:11 (HKT)
Up Start Select You do need a 3'5 floppy drive to get the offical drivers installed BUT XP works fine without them. Reads everything from analog to dance pads. Even buttons I didnt know were in the playstation. Way good buy! Well... buyS. I got 3 now. One is for a friend...
Alcahest(4) on 27, Feb. 2006 10:05 (HKT)
Excellent Fantastic piece of hardware. Works perfectly on XP SP2. No need for extra batteries for Force Feedback to work (powered by USB). Pressure sensitive buttons too. Ideal for emulators. Driver is very easy to installed provided you have a 3'5 disk reader in your PC, otherwise you can get the driver off the net at the following address:

Thumbs up!
