Great battle game!
This game is very simple and fun! You can build 100's of combinations of robots and battle them with each other. In the story mode, you battle computer players and win robo parts to better your machine. Once you unlock them, you can use them in battle mode. The controls work very well with the fights being really intense. The game is set up kind of like Sonic Battle for GBA, but better.
Most of the story's dialogue, I just skipped. You can save the game anywhere, and it always asked if you want to save it after you fight someone. Fight all the robots in battle fields that (I am guessing) are on these tables with your miniature robots in combat. Throughout the game, you meet new people, find enemies (I don't know what that plot is) and stop them of their schemes. As you beat new people, you can use that pilot. The same goes for the stages. The more stages you play on the story mode, the more you unlock. It's all around a really fun game which may take easily up to 8 hours to finish the whole thing.
The battle mode is essentially just a battle mode against computers or humans.
I found this game on the Virtual Console for Wii Japanese and tried it out and was hooked. So I found the N64 version and grabbed it. I like the Gamecube controls better though.
Great game! Get it if you can!
