In the sequel to the large scale historical action film by John Woo, the war continues with more special effects and excitement than ever. With Cao Cao cunningly making use of the plague that happened within his territories, the allied forces are pressured to retaliate, which eventually leads to the famed naval battles at Red Cliff.

Amazing finale! Top production values make this a great conclusion to the two part series. While the story takes a sharp turn, focusing on the two main heroes and develops some non-historical characters, the final battle scene is a climax worth the wait. Stellar special effects, sound design, and action sequences make it a fully immersive theater experience.
