Hong Hong Pop diva Sammi Cheng and the great Lau Ching Wan star in this horror comedy the lates from acclaimed director Johnnie To. After witnessing a suicide, rich widow Sammi realizes that her left eye can see ghosts. As words of her ability spreads throughout the afterworld, ghosts of all kind come to Sammi for help in fulfilling their last wishes. Naughty ghost Sean (Lau), promises Sammi to look for her late husband's spirit if she can find out what his last regret was.

寡婦Sammi擁有豐厚財富，但為人苛刻不講道理，性格霸道讓人敬而遠之，身為董事又愛詐病不上班。一次她以右眼視網膜脫落為藉口請假，其後竟發現自己左眼可以看見鬼。恐怖怪事逐漸出現，各方鬼魂紛紛求助於她，其中以青雲最麻煩。他述說生前的憾事如繁星數，要Sammi 為他圓夢，不勝煩惱，後來卻建立起真摯友誼。這時Sammi 向青雲提出一個根本沒有可能實現的要求…..
