It started with The Five Venoms, the internationally loved kung-fu thriller. It continued through more than a dozen bloody good entertainments featuring the same actors in different roles. This is considered the last official “Venoms” movie, but what a film it is. There’s one plasma-spurting attack after another as heroes and rogues alike try to solve the secrets of this hell house. The core Venoms themselves choreograph the gory fun in this fond farewell to their worldwide film series sensation.

Fun Venoms action.
This is not the best Chang Cheh film with the venom team in it but that is not to say it is a bad one. What the film lacks in a credible plot it makes up for with superior scenes of kung fu!
There is some imagination injected into this film and this keeps the action fresh and enjoyable. To the more trained eye it is easy to see how much more skilled the on-screen martial artist were in this era. Some , such as Chin Siu Ho from this film, are still seen in flms today.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film and would readily have marked it higher if the story was not quite so sketchy.
Once again the remaster is of fantastic quality, with easy to read subtitles. Definately one for undemanding fans of classic chop socky action.
