Mei-chu is the lord's daughter of a longstanding herbal tea store. Since her old parents passed away when she was child, she has developed an independent and tough character. One day, Mei-chu rents her flat to a poor action actor Dan. Dan is dumped by his girlfriend Linda right after moving into the flat, and his circumstance excites Mei-chu's sympathy. With Mei-chu's support, Dan starts getting a feel for his work and life, and also going back to date Linda together again.
