Absolutely Outstanding!

Set in the distant future, Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer is a fast and furious shoot 'em up with state-of-the-art graphics, driving soundtrack and classic fun gameplay sprinkled with fresh innovations. Great game, excellent package As far as shoot'em-ups go, Soldner-X isn't the best. The chain combo system, while adding something extra to the standard shmup formula, isn't as original as say, Ikaruga's colour-switch theme; and the weapons, while looking great, seem uninspired and underpowered.
But make no mistake; this is as challenging a game as die-hard shmup fans would expect, the graphics and music are awesome, it's a brilliantly-packaged game for a bargain price, and you can tell a lot of love has gone into the overall product. Also most of the best shmups aren't on PC, and this of course is. It's good for something a little different from the norm as far as PC games go.

this game needs more work after getting this game i was kinda hyped till i started playing
the music is well not catchy enough unlike other shooters, the game play was kinda a turn off for me
another prob im facing is reg my key for IR i had emailed them about my issue and I've got no reply yet
im gonna put it like this its really not work it at all

A fantastic set for a fantastic price from PlayAsia If you're a fan of side-scrolling shoot-em-ups, then there's no reason for you to sit this one out. For $15, you can't go wrong with this set. The game provides a nice challenge for you overall, as it should since it's always been a staple in shoot-em-ups.

great packaging I actually already own the download version, but it's so cheap online now, that I picked it up just for the packaging, and the soundtrack. A great deal ! looks great on the shelf, and the soundtrack is awesome, and it's worth the piece of mind to actually own a physical copy. if you are like me, and don't trust downloads / hard drives ? then pick this one up
